🔍 The Golden Zone — Why It Works
When price makes an impulsive move in any direction, it never continues without pausing to retest. That retest — the retracement — almost always finds its floor or ceiling within a specific mathematical band derived from the Fibonacci sequence.
The two levels that define this band are:

⚙️ How It Works — Full Logic Breakdown
Stage 1 — Swing Detection The algorithm scans recent bars using a configurable lookback window to identify the most significant swing high and swing low. Detection sensitivity adjusts automatically based on the asset's Average True Range so the same settings work on EURUSD (low volatility) and BTCUSD (high volatility) without manual tuning.
Stage 2 — Fibonacci Level Calculation and Rendering All key retracement levels are calculated and drawn on the chart automatically:
- 0.0 — Swing origin
- 0.236 — Early shallow retracement
- 0.382 — Moderate retracement
- 0.500 — Midpoint equilibrium
- 0.618 — Golden Zone lower boundary
- 0.786 — Golden Zone upper boundary
- 1.000 — Full retracement / trend invalidation
- 1.272 — Extension target (TP2)
- 1.618 — Full extension target (TP3)
The Golden Zone is highlighted as a filled rectangle on the chart. All other levels render as clean horizontal lines with price labels. Zone colour adapts based on bullish or bearish bias.
Stage 3 — Real-Time Zone Monitoring The indicator watches price bar by bar. The moment a candle closes inside the 0.618–0.786 zone, the zone activates. An initial alert fires telling you price has entered — giving you time to watch the next candle for confirmation.
Stage 4 — Confirmation Engine Entry is never triggered on zone entry alone. The indicator requires a valid candle confirmation pattern inside the zone before generating a signal. Recognised patterns include:
- Bullish / Bearish Engulfing
- Hammer / Shooting Star / Inverted Hammer / Hanging Man
- Pin Bar (long rejection wick with small body)
- Inside Bar with momentum break
- Strong close (body closes more than 70% of the candle range in signal direction)
Stage 5 — Signal Plotting and Dashboard Update On confirmation, a BUY or SELL label plots directly on the chart at the entry candle. The information table updates instantly with all trade parameters. Alerts fire across all configured channels.

🛡️ Signal Quality Filters
Five filters run on every potential signal before it reaches your chart. All are independently configurable.
Filter 1 — Zone Integrity If price has already closed below 0.786 (on a long setup) or above 0.786 (on a short setup) without a valid reversal, the zone is marked broken and invalidated. No signal is generated on a failed zone.
Filter 2 — Higher Timeframe Trend Alignment The indicator reads the EMA from the next timeframe up (configurable) and only generates signals in the direction of the higher timeframe trend. Counter-trend setups are suppressed. This single filter eliminates the majority of false signals.
Filter 3 — Risk:Reward Enforcement If the geometry of the setup does not produce at least the minimum R:R you configure (default 1:2), the signal is blocked. Low-quality, tight setups never reach your chart.
Filter 4 — Volatility Filter (ATR-Based) Signals are blocked during abnormally low ATR (dead, illiquid markets) and abnormally high ATR (news spike candles). The indicator trades structure, not chaos.
Filter 5 — Session Filter For Forex pairs, signals default to London and New York session hours only. For Crypto, the filter is off by default (24/7 market). For Indices, signals align with the primary exchange open hours. All sessions are fully configurable.
