Do I need a risk management EA for MT5

MANAGER FEATURES 1. Daily Loss Lock (total) If the sum of realized + floating losses on the day reaches the configured value (ex: -$200), the EA: Cancels all pending orders. Closes all open operations. Prevents new orders until the next day (resets only the next day).

2. Instant Floating Loss Lock If the current floating loss (open drawdown) is equal to or greater than the daily limit, even without closed trades: Immediately close all open positions. Cancel pending orders. Locks new operations until the next day.

3. Lock per Individual Trade Defines a maximum loss per active trade (ex: -$50). If a trade reaches this loss alone: ​​That trade is closed. The others can continue if they are within the general rules.

4. Lock for 2 consecutive days of loss If there are 2 consecutive days with total loss (the daily limit has been reached): The system goes into lock mode for 1 day. The next day, the block is automatically removed and the count restarts.

5. Bypass Protection (Easing the EA) The EA only allows settings to be changed once every 2 days. Records the timestamp of the last configuration change. If the user tries to modify before then, the change is ignored. Optional: includes password (encrypted in code).

6. Alertas e Logs Mensagens de alerta no gráfico e na aba Experts. Logs com timestamps de: Alterações nas configurações. Ativação das travas. Tentativas de burlar o sistema.
