MT5 EA – Dynamic Projection Line Overlay (H1)

Type: Visual forecasting EA (no signals or trading logic)

🧠 Objective:

This EA provides a visual projection overlay that estimates how far each H1 candle might extend based on direction and volatility (Open ± ATR × Multiplier). It is for manual chart analysis only and is not used for signals or trading automation.

📐 Projection Logic:

At the start of each H1 candle, draw a projection line:

• Bullish candle (Open < Close):
  Open + ATR × Multiplier → Yellow line (above open)

• Bearish candle (Open > Close):
  Open – ATR × Multiplier → Orange line (below open)

• ATR timeframe: Use from current chart (H1)

• ATR period: Fixed or user-configurable (e.g. 14)

• Multiplier: User-configurable (e.g. 1.35)

🔁 Real-Time Update & Freeze Behavior:

• The projection line must update live if new highs/lows form during the current candle.

• When the H1 candle closes, the line must freeze permanently at its final level.

• Frozen lines must persist after EA reload and not repaint.

📊 Visual Rules:

• Show only the 10 most recent frozen lines on screen to avoid clutter.

• Frozen lines must:

  • Stay visible after H1 close

  • Not move or repaint

  • Be color-coded clearly:

    • Yellow for bullish projection

    • Orange for bearish projection

🎯 Accuracy Goals:

• Final line should typically land within 1–2 points of the actual wick top or bottom.

• Must perform reliably even during fast spikes (100–400+ pips).

• No premature shifting or unstable line movements allowed.

❌ Not Required:

• No buy/sell logic

• No buttons

• No alerts

• No indicators (except ATR)

💡 Purpose:

This is a pure forecasting aid to help estimate high/low extensions on H1 candles — useful for sniper reversal trades or volatility tracking.
