HELLO 
THE PROJECT fixing and completing a custom Excel plugin (MExcelTrader)

Key project issues:

  • Excel-based trading functions (e.g., for placing and closing orders) are not working properly.

  • There’s a lack of technical documentation, making it harder to onboard new developers or maintain the system.

  • A list of defects and test cases is available, which outlines the specific areas that need attention.

  • The previous developer did not complete the integration thoroughly, leaving gaps in functionality and clarity.

The goal is to:

  • Diagnose and fix broken Excel-MT5 trade functions.

  • Review and improve the current C++ codebase.

  • Create comprehensive documentation for future support and development.

  • Possibly expand or finalize the MT5 feature set to ensure full trading capability from within Excel.
