5 THINGS EVERY GOLD TRADER SHOULD KNOW BEFORE RUNNING AN EA
Automated trading removes emotion — it doesn't remove risk. A quick rundown before you go live on XAUUSD:
🛑 Stop Loss isn't optional. No SL means no known ceiling on your loss. One bad move can undo months of gains.
📊 High win rate ≠ low risk. Many high-win-rate systems (especially grid/Martingale) hide one big loss behind lots of small wins. Watch Profit Factor and max drawdown instead.
💱 Spread matters more on gold. XAUUSD spreads vary a lot by broker and widen during news. A live signal's results won't automatically match your account.
