Aurum Sentinel is a fully automated Expert Advisor built for Gold (XAUUSD).
It waits for selected market conditions, opens one trade at a time with a fixed lot,
and always sends a hard Stop Loss and Take Profit together with the order.
Every trade also has a maximum holding time.

IMPORTANT: FIXED LOT AND THE SKIP RULE
1) Fixed lot
- Every trade uses exactly the lot you type in "Fixed lot".
- The lot NEVER increases after a loss and never grows with your balance.
To trade bigger, change the lot yourself.
- If your broker does not allow that lot, the EA rounds it to the nearest
allowed size (minimum / maximum / step) and writes this in the Experts log.
2) Skip rule (maximum loss per trade)
- Before every entry the EA calculates how much the trade would lose if the
Stop Loss is hit. If that loss is bigger than the limit, the trade is skipped.
- With the default setting (50 per 0.01 lot) the limit is:
Skip limit ($) = Lot x 5000
- Examples:
Lot 0.01 -> skip if the loss at SL would be more than $50
Lot 0.02 -> skip if the loss at SL would be more than $100
Lot 0.05 -> skip if the loss at SL would be more than $250
Lot 0.10 -> skip if the loss at SL would be more than $500
Lot 1.00 -> skip if the loss at SL would be more than $5000
- The limit grows with your lot automatically, so the EA behaves the same
at every lot size. Set the input to 0 to turn the skip rule off.
- This means the largest possible loss of one trade is about Lot x 5000 $
(plus slippage, swap and commission). Choose your lot with this in mind.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Symbol: XAUUSD
- Chart timeframe: any (the EA uses its own internal timeframes)
- Minimum deposit: 300 USD per 0.01 lot [EDIT IF NEEDED]
- Broker: low spread on Gold, ECN/Raw account recommended
- VPS recommended for 24/5 running
- Run only ONE chart of Aurum Sentinel per account and symbol
INPUT PARAMETERS
General
- Trading mode - Sentinel Max / Sentinel Pro / Sentinel Core
- Magic number - unique ID of the EA's trades
- Trade comment - text added to each order
Position size & risk
- Fixed lot - lot size of every trade, never changed by the EA (default 0.01)
- Skip trade if max loss > $ per 0.01 lot - default 50, so the limit = Lot x 5000 $ (0 = off). See "Fixed lot and the skip rule" above
- No new trades after this day loss in $ - daily loss limit (0 = off)
- Block if ANY position exists on this symbol - do not trade while any other position is open on the same symbol
Filters
- Max spread in price ($) - no entry when the spread is wider (default 0.60)
- Max entry delay after bar open (seconds) - avoids late entries after gaps (default 600)
- Max slippage in points (default 30)
HOW TO START
1. Open an XAUUSD chart (any timeframe).
2. Drag Aurum Sentinel onto the chart and enable "Allow Algo Trading".
3. Choose a trading mode and your fixed lot, then press OK.
4. Make sure the "Algo Trading" button in the terminal toolbar is ON.
