HOW IT WORKS

  1. Builds the range. Through the Asian and London sessions the EA records the high and low of gold.
  2. Watches the edges. At the New York open it watches for a clean break of the range.

  4. One trade, fixed exits. Stop loss and take profit are set on entry. Finished before the session ends.

Lot size never increases after a loss, and the EA never holds more than one trade. Every trade has a real stop loss from the first second.

TESTED WITH EXECUTION DELAY

The backtest was repeated with 0 to 200 ms of simulated execution delay. The win rate stays at about 63–64% at every level and the EA stays profitable throughout. Lower latency gives better results, so a VPS is recommended but not required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Recommended broker: Exness (Raw Spread or Zero account), or any broker offering ECN / RAW / low-spread accounts
