Multi-Strategy Swing & Pending Order Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5

POSEIDON SCALPER V1.0 is an automated trading system designed around structured swing detection, multi-strategy execution, pending order management, and independent money management.

The EA contains four independent trading engines — Poseidon A, Poseidon B, Poseidon C, and Poseidon D — each using its own market structure rules, entry logic, protection settings, and trailing management.

Users can trade all four strategies together or activate only one selected strategy.

4 Independent Trading Strategies

POSEIDON SCALPER V1.0 includes four separate trading engines:

• Poseidon A – H1 swing-based structure detection

• Poseidon B – Multi-timeframe M15/M5 confirmation system

• Poseidon C – Faster H1 swing structure model

• Poseidon D – Wider swing structure designed to detect larger market movements

Each strategy operates with its own parameters and Magic Number.

Intelligent Pending Order System

The EA identifies qualified swing structures and calculates specific entry levels.

Depending on the current market price, the EA can automatically use:

• Buy Stop

• Buy Limit

• Sell Stop

• Sell Limit

The system also monitors existing pending orders and can invalidate orders when their original market structure is no longer valid.

Swing-Based Market Structure

The core trading logic analyzes confirmed Swing High and Swing Low points.

Different Poseidon strategies use different swing sensitivities, allowing the system to identify both shorter-term and larger market structures.

Independent Money Management

Each Poseidon strategy has its own money management settings.

Three lot-sizing modes are available:

Fixed Lot

Trade with a predefined lot size.

Risk Percentage

The EA calculates position size automatically based on:

• Account balance

• Selected risk percentage

• Entry price

• Stop Loss distance

Risk per Balance

Lot size automatically scales according to account balance.

Example:

0.01 lot per $1,000 balance

Individual Stop Loss and Take Profit

Default strategy structure:

Poseidon A

• Stop Loss: 500 points

• Take Profit: 1500 points

Poseidon B

• Stop Loss: 500 points

• Take Profit: 2500 points

Poseidon C

• Stop Loss: 1000 points

• Take Profit: 2500 points

Poseidon D

• Stop Loss: 800 points

• Take Profit: 1700 points

Actual price distance depends on the symbol's point size and broker specifications.

Dynamic Trailing Stop

Each Poseidon engine has its own trailing management rules.

The system can automatically move Stop Loss when predefined profit conditions are reached.

Each strategy uses different:

• Trailing activation levels

• Trailing distances

• Trailing steps

High-Impact USD News Filter

POSEIDON SCALPER V1.0 includes an optional High-Impact USD news filter.

Users can configure:

• Minutes before news

• Minutes after news

• Normal risk

• 25% risk reduction

• 50% risk reduction

Note: The external news filter is disabled during Strategy Tester operation.

Trading Session Management

Individual strategy engines can apply their own:

• Trading days

• Trading sessions

• Pending order management

• Post-trade cooldown periods

Optimized Backtesting

POSEIDON SCALPER V1.0 includes performance optimizations for MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, including:

• Cached H1, M15 and M5 price data

• Cached swing calculations

• Reduced repeated historical scans

• Optimized order lookup

• Optional new-bar evaluation

• Reduced tester logging

• Optional timer disabling during backtests

Supported Symbols

POSEIDON SCALPER V1.0 uses the symbol of the chart on which it is attached.

It can technically operate on supported MT5 instruments such as:

• XAUUSD / Gold

• Major Forex pairs

• Indices

• Cryptocurrencies

• Other CFD instruments

Because entry offsets, Stop Loss, Take Profit and trailing distances are based on symbol points, users should always backtest and optimize the EA before using it on a new instrument.

XAUUSD is recommended as the primary instrument for initial testing.
