Grand Theft Gold is a fully automated multi-engine Expert Advisor developed specifically for XAUUSD / Gold on MetaTrader 5.
The system combines five independent trading engines inside one EA. All engines operate from a single chart while analyzing multiple internal timeframes and managing their own trading opportunities independently.

Overview
Grand Theft Gold was created around a multi-engine approach rather than relying on one single trading setup.
Five internal engines — VICE, SIX, ORBIT, BOOST and HEIST — continuously evaluate Gold for their own qualified conditions. Each engine has its own internal identity and can manage Buy and Sell opportunities independently.
The EA uses a D1, H1, M15 and M5 internal market structure stack. You only need to attach the EA to one XAUUSD chart.
When a qualified opportunity is detected, the system can prepare a Buy Stop or Sell Stop pending order with a predefined Stop Loss, Take Profit and server-side expiration.
The complete process — market analysis, order placement, position management and protection — is automated.

Trading Modes
Grand Theft Gold provides four operating modes so the user can choose how the five-engine system evaluates trading opportunities.
VICE is the native multi-engine mode. It runs the original strategy structure without the additional AI approval layer.
LEONIDA adds an H1 recheck process. Existing trading opportunities can be re-evaluated when the internal H1 structure changes.
GELLHORN activates the embedded approval model. Eligible setups are evaluated before the pending order is submitted. The model runs locally inside MetaTrader 5 and does not require an API key, WebRequest service or external AI connection.
PROP is designed for accounts where additional drawdown and exposure controls are required. It activates percentage-based risk management together with prop-style daily and total drawdown protection.
AI filtering is an additional decision layer. It cannot predict future market movements or guarantee winning trades.
Five-Engine Architecture
The five engines operate independently inside the same EA.
This architecture allows Grand Theft Gold to evaluate different Gold market structures without requiring several Expert Advisors or several charts.
Several engines may occasionally identify valid opportunities at the same time. For this reason, risk selected per trade should not be confused with total account exposure.
Users should select a position size suitable for their account and risk tolerance.
Risk and Lot Management
Grand Theft Gold provides several methods of controlling position size.
AUTO mode uses the EA's automatic behavior.
FIXED mode allows the user to select a fixed lot size.
RISK mode calculates position size according to a selected percentage of account balance and the initial Stop Loss.
The EA also includes a maximum-lot safety control internally to prevent risk calculations from exceeding the configured limit.
Risk management reduces exposure but cannot remove trading risk. Slippage, gaps, spread, commission and broker execution can cause the final result to differ from the theoretical Stop Loss calculation.
ViceLock Profit Protection
ViceLock is the EA's virtual profit-protection system.
After a position reaches the configured activation level, Grand Theft Gold monitors the highest eligible floating profit reached by that position and can protect part of that recorded peak if the market reverses.
Several protection styles are available internally, including Classic and Gradual protection behavior.
Spike Shield adds an additional confirmation process during abnormal spread expansion to reduce unnecessary exits caused by short spread spikes.
ViceLock is a virtual protection feature. MetaTrader 5, algorithmic trading, market quotes and the EA must remain active for the system to manage the position.
The original physical Stop Loss and Take Profit remain independent from ViceLock.
News Protection
Grand Theft Gold includes dedicated protection for major USD events commonly associated with strong Gold volatility.
NFP, CPI and FOMC protection can temporarily prevent new entries around the configured event window.
The EA uses the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar. No external news website, API key or WebRequest permission is required for the standard news-protection system.
An additional general economic-news filter is also available in the internal system.
News protection cannot guarantee that a pending order will always be cancelled before execution. Market speed, terminal connectivity, latency and broker execution remain relevant.
Weekend and Spread Protection
Weekend Shield can pause new entries and remove recognized Grand Theft Gold pending orders before the weekly market close.
The system resumes evaluation after the configured Monday start time.
An optional wide-spread guard is also included. When enabled, it can prevent new entries and request removal of pending orders when spread exceeds the selected limit.
Prop Firm Mode
PROP mode provides an additional protection layer for traders who use evaluation or funded-account style rules.
The system includes configurable controls for daily loss, total drawdown, profit target, risk per trade and maximum simultaneous exposure.
Grand Theft Gold only manages positions and pending orders that belong to its own internal Magic Number structure.
Prop-firm rules differ between companies and can change. The user remains responsible for checking the exact rules of the firm being used. The EA cannot guarantee compliance with every prop firm or guarantee that an account will pass an evaluation.
Dashboard and Control Panel
On live and demo charts, Grand Theft Gold includes an integrated visual dashboard and control panel.
The interface provides access to important operating information and allows the user to control trading mode, cash mode, automated trading, news protection, ViceLock and manual trading functions directly from the chart.
The visual interface is automatically reduced during Strategy Tester operation to improve testing speed.
Recommended Setup
Grand Theft Gold is designed for XAUUSD / Gold on MetaTrader 5.
Recommended chart: XAUUSD M15.
The EA internally reads D1, H1, M15 and M5 data regardless of the visible chart structure.
A Hedging account is strongly recommended because the five engines are designed to operate independently. Netting accounts can combine positions and therefore may not reproduce the intended multi-engine behavior.
Low spread, stable execution and low slippage are recommended for Gold trading.
A VPS close to the broker's trading server is recommended for continuous operation, especially when using ViceLock and the protection systems.
Algorithmic Trading must remain enabled.
Broker and Execution Differences
Gold trading conditions can vary significantly between brokers.
Two accounts running the same EA and settings can produce different results because of spread, commission, slippage, latency, liquidity, symbol specifications, price feed and order execution.
A broker that performs well with one trading strategy may not necessarily provide the same execution quality for pending-order Gold trading.
For this reason, users should test Grand Theft Gold with their own broker before increasing position size.
Backtesting
For realistic historical evaluation, Every tick based on real ticks is recommended whenever suitable broker data is available.
Backtest results and Strategy Tester screenshots are historical simulations. They are not live trading results and do not guarantee that the same performance will occur in the future.
Testing should use realistic spread, commission, leverage and symbol specifications whenever possible.
Before Using on a Live Account
Start by testing the EA in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and on a demo account.
Confirm that the Gold symbol, lot size, account type, broker execution and protection settings are suitable for your account.
Begin with conservative risk while learning how the five-engine system behaves with your broker.
Important Risk Notice

Losing trades, drawdown, periods with fewer trades and differences between historical and live results are normal possibilities in financial markets.
