2. Input Parameters Guide

General & Timeframe Settings

  • Trading Timeframe: The primary timeframe used by the EA for chart analysis and trade execution.

  • Macro Timeframe: Higher timeframe used to confirm the macro trend direction (H4 to D1 recommended).

  • Exit Timeframe: Timeframe used for dynamic exit level calculations (M20 recommended).

Entry & Confirmation Filters

  • Persistence Bars (Range: 2–10): The number of consecutive prior bars that must satisfy tier conditions before a trade opens. Higher values result in stricter, higher-quality signals.

  • Use Entry Signal Threshold: Enables or disables a minimum strength requirement for entry signals.

  • Entry Signal Threshold: The specific minimum value required for entry (active only when the threshold setting above is enabled).

Exit & Momentum Filters

  • Signal Timeframe: Timeframe used for exit-related momentum analysis.

  • Use Signal Cross for Exit: Closes trades based on momentum line crossovers.

  • Use Signal Reversal for Exit: Closes trades when momentum direction completely reverses.

Volume & Risk Management

  • Lot Size Mode: Toggle between Fixed lot size or Equity-based lot size.

  • Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 Fixed Lot Size: Volume used when Fixed mode is active.

  • Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 Equity Percent: Percentage of current account equity allocated per tier when Equity mode is active.

  • Maximum Lot Size for Equity Mode: A hard safety ceiling to limit maximum allowed trade volume for Equity mode.

Take Profit Targets

  • Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3 Profit Target: Fixed USD profit levels at which each specific tier's position will automatically close.

Session Controls

  • Trade Sydney / Tokyo / London / New York Session: Enable or disable trading during specific GMT sessions. (London and New York are highly recommended for optimal trend volume).

  • ⚠️ Important Logic Rule: If all trading session filters are set to False , the EA will automatically default to treating them all as True . This means the system will trade continuously across all sessions if no specific session is selected.

  • Trade New York Session ➡️ True / False

Reminder on Session Logic: If your optimization run happens to select False for all four sessions, the EA's internal logic automatically defaults to treating them all as True. This ensures continuous 24-hour trading rather than shutting the EA down entirely.
