EA works really great, but it desperately needs SL. What about the MT5 version?
Yeah sure, how do you explain this:
The EA held a position until it blew up the account.
It is a promising tool, it needs a bit more refinement to be trusted. You should add:
-An input for the drawdown percentage so the EA will close the losing position that reaches X percent of total balance
-A stop loss for the orders. A simple stop loss would have prevented what happened in this simulation
EA works really great, but it desperately needs SL. What about the MT5 version?
It saddens me to know that you made this very important and relevant suggestion in december 2021 and the developer has not added the stop loss to the EA, what a shame.
Results today from 5K demo on default settings. Only been using 2 days, so early to judge. Liking it so far and has potential. Would be sensible to use a SL EA in conjunction to limit DD. I use KT Equity protector, but there are plenty EA's out there that will do this. A good protection EA is AW recovery also, that can recover from a DD by hedging and trading to gradually close your losing positions.
More results. 3 trading days ! This is very impressive. Even if its random luck, it hasn't had 1 losing trade.
