Hi Kyra, Loss Recovery 1 is in the process of trying to recover a few bad trades. I like the concept, but while watching it I thought it would be very useful to see the close out level drawn on the chart as the system is running, so you can visualize where the price needs to get to before it is recovered. Thanks
Hi, If you think bad trades are opened, you can send your settings and report of orders to PV to check your settings on the EA is correct or not.
Thanks for your attention. Yes, my plan on next major update is to show visual elements on chart to show TP levels, next probable orders, ....

Hi Kyra, I tend to find a similar period and then test the settings myself before deploying. So far it has worked well on various trade - thanks! I do have another feature request though. Currently the Magic number is hard coded to 1, but I need to be able to change it. In one situation I did not realize that the other EA's magic number was also set to 1, but the trades were already live and I could not change LR1. I ran it anyway and it seemed to work, but not sure if this would always be the case. Also I now need to change it because I want to run a few different versions of LR1 with different settings for different currency pairs on the same account. This seems like a quick thing to change and I would be very grateful if this could be done sooner rather than later. Thanks
Hi Kyra,
Regarding LR1 EA, I found a table that you showed some 'recommended values', and I tried the 'Fast' and 'Recommended' settings, but
none of them seem to work or is NOT fast at all.
I am trading with 1min. time frame and for some currencies pairs, I have more than 30 open orders at the same time and the LR1 EA
just keeps adding and adding more orders. It looks like it will never end and will take forever to close those orders. Also, my margin level is
getting burned out quickly.
Could you please reconsider those 'recommended values' again and recommend some values that really work?

NOTE : I am adjusting the 'points' according to 1min. time frame.
Here is the example of the 'inputs' that I am using for LR1.

These are typical values for most traders. These are not forced on everyone.
You can enter your desired values based on your trading strategy.

Well, excellent reply.
Of course, I know that I can enter any values, but what you mention as 'Fast' values, at the end are not fast at all.
Also, I was asking you for some more hints on how to improve these values, but unfortunately you don't look like helpful.

Your settings for distances are 2x of M1 ATR. This is extra super aggressive. I can not suggest such values for traders.
Your settings are only Fast. My definition from the word "Fast" is Fast + Safety.

In this case, if you think that 2xATR of M1 is super aggressive, what do you recommend as good values (Fast + Safe) for M1 time frame?
1. EURUSD (1min. time frame)
Fixed distance to start : Points (xx) and ATR (xx)
Distance of Positions: Points (xx) and ATR (xx)
Vol. for In-Dir (%) : xx
Vol. for Opp-Dir (%): xx
2. Gold (1min. time frame)

Hi Kyra,
Can you please reply to my previous questions (in red) regarding the 'Recommended Values' to use LR1 for EUR/USD and Gold?
In addition, what is the time frame you considered to make the table 'Recommended Values' in the overview?

My recommendation is not ATR.
My recommendation for EURUSD is 500,1000,50,50 and for GOLD : 10000,20000,50,50
Anyway selecting the values is the user strategy based on account status and risk.My recommendation is not ATR.

Timeframe has no effect on recovery.
Well, it depends. If you use a short time frame like 1min, you want to recover your positions faster. However, if you use 500 or 1000 points in a 1min. time frame, you could wait ages to recover your positions.

EA operation is independant from chart timeframe. If you are trading on M1, change the EA settings based on your trading strategy.
Exactly, this is what I am trying to realize, and I am asking your help to find some good settings to trade with M1, but it seems you don't catch my point.
It is Ok!!

M1 trading is HFT and something like scalping. So it is better to use SL. This is my opinion only. I don't know what your strategy is, so the best decision can be taken by yourself.

You said before that this LR1 EA works independently of time frame, but now you say that is better to use SL for M1.
Personally, I don't like using SL and I think this LR1 EA is effective with any kind of time frame, it is just a matter of finding the best settings for my M1 strategy. With my actual settings, I have been able to close 90% of my positions with profit within 24hs.
Hope to improve that even more, but started to see some limitations now.
