Choose your Sessions

Choose your Session draws a colored rectangle for each market session you configure (up to 4). Set start/end time, color, fill and vertical range — ideal for spotting Tokyo, London and New York hours at a glance.

Choose your Session Boxes draws a rectangle for every trading session defined by the user, so you can immediately see where the activity of the main financial centers opens and closes. Up to 4 independent sessions can be configured (start/end hour and minute, color, fill, on/off), including sessions that cross midnight, with an optional time shift to align them with your broker's server time. The indicator displays only the last N trading days, can skip Saturday and Sunday, and offers three vertical range modes: fixed height (stable, unaffected by chart scrolling), session high/low, or the height of the visible chart window. It is a purely graphical tool: it uses no buffers, does not alter the chart price scale, and recalculates only on first calculation, on a new day or while a session is open, keeping its objects when you switch timeframe.
