High Impact News EA
Trade only the major economic releases, using the actual data.
High Impact News EA watches the built-in MQL5 Economic Calendar and trades only high-impact events for your chart symbol (for example NFP, CPI and rate decisions). It does not trade the rest of the day.
How it works
- Before the release it shows a trade prediction based on forecast vs previous.
- At the release it reads the actual figure and decides the direction from the data, and combines several simultaneous releases into one vote.
- Price confirmation: it only enters once price moves in the data's direction from the pre-news price.
- Trade source label: the dashboard shows Our Prediction when the data matched the prediction, or News Data when the data decided the trade.
On-chart dashboard
- The high-impact news it is waiting for, with a live countdown
- Upcoming news with forecast and previous values
- The predicted trade: direction, lots, entry, SL and TP
- The actual trade, with its source label and running or closed profit
- Prediction accuracy counter and a look-back history of recent events (oldest records are dropped automatically to save memory)
Risk management
- Lot size from a risk percentage per trade, or a fixed lot, adjusted to each symbol's limits
- ATR-based stop loss and take profit that respect the symbol's stop level and spread
- One trade at a time, optional breakeven and trailing stop, and a maximum holding time
- No martingale, no grid, no averaging

Notes
- Best on FX pairs and metals such as EURUSD, GBPUSD and XAUUSD. Indices and stocks are not supported.
- Requires a terminal connected to the broker so the MQL5 economic calendar can sync. No DLL or web requests are used.
- The Strategy Tester has no economic calendar, so tests use a simulated news schedule and price reaction. Real data behavior can only be seen on a demo or live account.
- Spreads and slippage widen around news. Test on a demo account first.
