NEWYORK BREAKOUT is an automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor designed to trade New York session breakout and retest setups. The EA identifies the defined New York session range and monitors its High and Low levels for a confirmed breakout.
A trade is not opened immediately after a simple price spike. The breakout must be confirmed by a candle body closing beyond the session High or Low. After the breakout, the EA waits for price to return and retest the broken session level before executing a BUY or SELL trade.
The system supports M5, M15, and M30 working timeframes, allowing traders to choose their preferred confirmation speed. Stop Loss is based on the opposite side of the New York session range with an adaptive safety buffer, while the Risk/Reward ratio can be configured according to the trader's preferences.
NEWYORK BREAKOUT also includes an optional Trailing Stop, configurable trading parameters, automatic lot normalization, margin protection, broker stop-level validation, and a real-time information panel.
The EA is designed with controlled trading frequency and can limit execution to one trade per day. If the required breakout and retest does not occur within the configured search window, the opportunity expires for that trading day.
Weekend protection is also included, preventing new trading activity on Saturday and Sunday.
