Obsidian LSTM

Obsidian LSTM is a MetaTrader 5 custom indicator designed to provide a clean prediction panel, directional bias, AI-style scoring, future target reference lines, and multi-timeframe signal confirmation directly on the chart.

The indicator is built for traders who want a simple visual decision-support tool without overcrowding the chart. It combines local price calculations, momentum, trend direction, volatility-based filtering, prediction distance, and multi-timeframe context into one compact interface.

Obsidian LSTM does not require an external Python bridge or external server connection. The calculation is handled locally inside MetaTrader 5, making it easy to attach to any chart and use immediately.

Main Concept

Obsidian LSTM displays a prediction-based reference level on the chart and summarizes the market condition in a compact information panel.

The panel helps the trader quickly check:

Current directional bias
Current signal condition
AI-style score
Predicted price level
Estimated TP and SL reference values
Current timeframe and spread
Floating profit/loss for the current symbol
Today’s realized profit/loss
Multi-timeframe signal status

The goal of the indicator is not to replace the trader’s own analysis, but to organize important decision-making information into a clear and practical chart layout.

Key Features

Prediction Panel

The information panel shows the current market bias, signal, AI score, predicted price, spread, estimated profit/loss reference, floating profit/loss, and today’s result.

This allows the trader to check the current chart condition without switching between multiple tools or windows.

Future Prediction Line

Obsidian LSTM can display a future target reference line on the right side of the chart.

If the predicted price is above the current market price, the indicator shows a BUY-side directional condition.
If the predicted price is below the current market price, the indicator shows a SELL-side directional condition.

The prediction line should be used as a visual reference level, not as a guaranteed target.

AI-Style Score

The AI SCORE field measures the strength of the current directional condition.

A higher score generally means that the predicted price distance and internal directional factors are stronger.
A lower score may indicate weaker direction or a less favorable trading condition.

The score can help traders filter signals and avoid unnecessary entries in uncertain market conditions.

Signal Display

The SIGNAL field can show conditions such as:

ENTRY BUY
ENTRY SELL
ENTRY BUY STRONG
ENTRY SELL STRONG
WAIT

When the signal shows WAIT, the market condition may not be strong enough or the internal filters may not be aligned. In this case, it is recommended to avoid forced entries.

Multi-Timeframe Signal Panel

The MTF SIGNAL button opens a multi-timeframe overview.

It allows the trader to check the signal, bias, and score across multiple timeframes such as:

M1
M5
M15
M30
H1
H4
D1
Weekly
Monthly

This feature is useful for checking whether the lower timeframe and higher timeframe are pointing in the same direction.

For example, if M15 shows a BUY signal while H1 and H4 are also BUY-biased, the trader can consider that the short-term and medium-term direction are aligned.

Obsidian Theme

The indicator includes an Obsidian-style black and gold visual theme. This gives the chart a clean, high-contrast appearance while keeping the main trading information easy to read.

The theme can be enabled or disabled depending on the trader’s preference.

Recommended Usage

For Day Trading

A practical setup is to use H1 as the main direction filter and M15 or M30 for entry timing.

Example:

Check H1 first.
If H1 bias is BUY, wait for a BUY condition on M15 or M30.
If H1 bias is SELL, wait for a SELL condition on M15 or M30.
Avoid entries when the signal is WAIT.
Confirm that spread is not too wide before entering.

This approach helps traders avoid taking trades against the broader market direction.

For Scalping

Obsidian LSTM can also be used on M1 and M5, but short-term trading is highly sensitive to spread, execution speed, and market noise.

Recommended approach:

Use H1 or M15 to confirm the main direction.
Use M5 or M1 for timing.
Avoid trading during wide spreads.
Avoid rollover periods.
Be careful during major news events.
Do not rely only on one signal.

The TF/SPR field is especially useful for scalping because it displays the current timeframe and spread directly on the panel.

For Swing Trading

For swing trading, H4 and D1 can be used to check the broader directional bias.

Recommended approach:

Use D1 to understand the main market direction.
Use H4 to look for signal alignment.
Use H1 for more precise timing if needed.
Focus on stronger signals and higher AI score conditions.
Use the prediction line as a reference level, not as a fixed target.

Suggested Settings

Conservative Setup

Timeframe: H1 or H4
StrongSignalScoreThreshold: 80 or higher
ShowFuturePredictionLine: true
ShowInfoPanel: true
ShowMTFButton: true

This setup is suitable for traders who prefer fewer but more filtered signals.

Short-Term Setup

Main direction: H1 or M15
Entry timing: M5 or M15
StrongSignalScoreThreshold: 70 to 80
Check spread before every entry
Avoid WAIT conditions

This setup is suitable for traders who want more frequent opportunities but still want directional filtering.

How to Read the Indicator

BUY Condition

A BUY-side condition is displayed when the predicted price is above the current price and the internal filters support an upward bias.

SELL Condition

A SELL-side condition is displayed when the predicted price is below the current price and the internal filters support a downward bias.

WAIT Condition

A WAIT condition means that the market direction is not strong enough, the prediction distance is too small, or the internal filters are not sufficiently aligned.

WAIT is an important part of the indicator because it helps reduce unnecessary trades in unclear market conditions.

Recommended Trading Workflow

1. Attach Obsidian LSTM to the chart.
2. Start from H1 or H4 to check the main bias.
3. Open the MTF SIGNAL panel and confirm higher timeframe direction.
4. Check the current SIGNAL and AI SCORE.
5. Confirm the spread using the TF/SPR field.
6. Use the future prediction line as a reference level.
7. Plan TP and SL using your own risk management.
8. Avoid trading when the signal is WAIT or when spread is too wide.

Risk Notice

Obsidian LSTM is a technical analysis indicator for MetaTrader 5.
It is designed to support trading decisions by displaying prediction-based reference levels, directional bias, signal conditions, and multi-timeframe information.

This indicator does not guarantee future price movement, profit, win rate, or target achievement.

All signals, scores, prediction lines, and estimated profit/loss values are for informational and analytical purposes only.

Before opening any trade, always consider:

Market volatility
Spread
Liquidity
News events
Risk management
Position size
Stop-loss placement
Overall market structure

The final trading decision is always the responsibility of the trader.

Summary

Obsidian LSTM is a clean and practical MT5 indicator that combines prediction-based chart levels, AI-style scoring, directional bias, signal filtering, estimated risk reference, and multi-timeframe confirmation into one chart panel.

It is suitable for traders who want a structured view of the market without adding too many separate indicators to the chart.

The indicator can be used for day trading, scalping, and swing trading when combined with proper risk management and higher timeframe confirmation.
