How to use:
This Expert Advisor uses a virtual balance model to determine position size.
The lot size is calculated based on the virtual balance for risk management , and the execution depends on your real deposit and leverage .
If the margin is not enough, the trade will be missed .
Recommended basic level
Start with a 5% risk per trade and keep your virtual balance close to your real deposit.
Example of a ready-made setup
If your real deposit is $5,000:
Choose how you want to split your operating deposit—into 10 or 20 risk units:
Option A - 10 risk units (more aggressive):
Virtual balance for risk management: 5000
Risk per trade (% of virtual balance): 10%
Recommended leverage: 1:500
(At 1:100 ratio, some trades may be missed due to insufficient margin.)
Option B - 20 risk units (more balanced):
Virtual balance for risk management: 5000
Risk per trade (% of virtual balance): 5%
Recommended leverage: 1:100
(This is usually sufficient for a given risk level.)
Important
If your virtual balance significantly exceeds your real deposit ,
EA may calculate a plot size that your account cannot support.
To avoid missed trades, adjust one or more of the following:
reduce the risk on each transaction .
reduce virtual balance .
increase real deposit or leverage .
Risk selection
Select a risk level based on your risk tolerance.
Increased risk can increase returns, but also increases drawdown and margin pressure.
Backtest setting (Strategy Tester)
A new input was added: “Backtest: Broker Server Time Zone”.
This parameter is used only in Strategy Tester to calculate session times correctly (the tester can’t auto-detect broker UTC offset).
In live trading, the EA detects server time automatically — you don’t need to set anything.
How to set it:
Check your broker/server time in MT5 (Market Watch).
Check current UTC time at the same moment.
Calculate: OffsetHours = BrokerTime − UTC → set OffsetHours × 60.
Examples:
Broker 16:17, UTC 14:17 → +2h → 120
Broker 16:17, UTC 13:17 → +3h → 180
Broker 16:17, UTC 21:17 → −5h → −300
I’d like to add a screenshot of the first trade opened by the Expert Advisor.
As someone familiar with Price Action, I can say the entry looks logical and not overly active - the EA really waits for its market setup instead of trading frequently.
I’ll keep monitoring the EA’s performance.
