Hi Renzcarlo,
Thanks for sharing your stats (Sep 26–Oct 16: 12 trades on 0.03 lots; P/L −13.77). I hear you—those three weeks haven’t looked great.
For context, Bitcoin has been unusually choppy in this same window. After pushing to new highs in early October, BTC sold off sharply on Oct 10 after renewed U.S.–China tariff headlines, briefly dipping below $110k and triggering broad liquidations. It’s been heavy since, with multiple down-days this week as risk assets softened. This kind of headline-driven, stop-and-reverse action is exactly the regime that can clip a scalper’s edge in the short run. Yahoo Finance+4CoinDesk+4CoinDesk+4
A few things we can do right now to adapt:
Risk & filters
• Run conservative risk (e.g., ≤0.5% per trade).
• Tighten spread/slippage limits and require a cleaner impulse (i.e., fewer but higher-quality entries).
• If you’re using a time/volatility filter, bias toward higher-liquidity hours and sit out low-vol chop.
Trading hours
• Consider pausing around major scheduled U.S. macro prints (CPI, jobs, FOMC statements). Even for crypto, those releases often spike whipsaw.
• If your broker widens spreads on weekends/rollover, disable then.
Broker conditions
• Use a low-latency VPS and a broker with consistently tight BTC spreads/commissions. Execution quality matters a lot for a scalper.
Quick health-check
If you can, send me: broker + symbol (e.g., BTCUSD / BTCUSD.x), timeframe, the set/inputs you used, and a short MT5 “Journal/Experts” snippet from a recent losing trade. I’ll review for things like symbol suffix mismatches, slippage, or filters that need tightening for current volatility.
Finally, 12 trades is a small sample—especially during a headline-driven pullback. Crypto Scalper is designed to show its edge over larger samples across different regimes. Let’s tune for the present conditions and give it a fairer runway.
I’m here to help you get it dialed in—keep me posted and we’ll iterate.
Best regards,
Wilna
I bought it because the backtest seemed promising, but I've been running it for a while and comparing it with the backtest entries in the same period, and the exits are very divergent although the entries coincide, even using random latency or setting it to 1000, the backtest brings good results, while in the real account it only generates losses, I will continue monitoring until the test balance is zero in a month, I believe that the performance should not change, if something changes I will change the real, too bad it is not refundable.

Update as promised, the expert advisor continues to generate only losses. Given the size of the stop loss it sets, it should only generate profit in a specific situation of a very rapid market explosion. I continued comparing it to the backtest, which remains divergent. In the backtest, the entries are the same, but the exit from the backtest continues to be profitable, while in a real account it's always a loss. In both the real account tests and the backtest, I left the same configuration predefined by the developer; I didn't make any changes. I will try making some changes to the settings to test if this generates any positive results, although the backtest is not at all reliable to use as a reference.
