Hi!

I bought your EA a couple of days ago,and so far,so good.I`ve updated to V5.0-is there any way to set a smaller starting capital,or is $1000 the absolute min?

Hi there — thanks for the positive feedback!

The EA is designed and sized for accounts from $1 000 upwards; that’s the practical minimum I can recommend. Below that level I can’t guarantee stable operation.

1 “My broker’s BTC-CFD tick size is 0.1 $ (not 0.01 $). Do I need to tweak something?” No. The lot calculator reads SYMBOL_TRADE_TICK_VALUE and SYMBOL_POINT at runtime, so risk sizing auto-scales. Touch INITIAL_LOT_SIZE only if the broker’s minimum lot is above 0.03.
2 “Can I run it during the Sunday-night gap?” Yes. Spread spikes are filtered by the Chop regime; but if your broker widens spread beyond 300 $ at the reopen, disable Algo Trading for weekends: Tools → Options → Algo Trading → Disable on weekend.
3 “Tester keeps showing ‘Warning: negative performance last 72 h’. Should I worry?” The log triggers every 72 real-hours. In fast back-tests the clock is compressed, so you’ll see a burst of warnings. Live trading shows it only a few times per month—purely diagnostic.
4 “How much leverage is ‘safe’?” Anything ≥ 1:100 is fine. Higher leverage doesn’t increase risk (lot size is equity-based) but keeps Margin Level above 300 %. With 1:50 or lower you may hit margin call in high volatility.
5 “Can I combine it with manual hedging trades?” Yes. Each EA position carries a unique magic number; manual trades remain untouched. Just remember: manual hedges dilute the equity curve and may distort statistics.
6 “Does VPS latency matter?” Not critical. The strategy is bar-based and checks once per closed M5 candle. Anything under 500 ms RTT is fine; a MetaQuotes VPS or any cloud server near the broker works.
7 “How do I raise the risk quickly without re-tuning every input?” Leave all ATR multipliers as-is—just set RISK_PERCENTAGE to 2–3 %. The lot calculator will scale automatically; the SL/TP architecture remains intact.
