Cool Review on DAX EA
🔍 Clarification on Trading Frequency – Please Read Before You Decide
✅ DAX EA includes 23 real, independent strategies – not artificial logic or recycled signals.
✅ All trades use a tight stop loss (~$3 per 0.1 lot), which requires precise entries, not random ones.
✅ The EA avoids trading during ranging markets to protect your capital. That’s intentional.
📊 REAL-WORLD TRADE FREQUENCY (Live Signal Examples):
In trending weeks, multiple strategies can trigger – 10+ trades/week is common
In slower weeks, it may hold back — this is smart logic, not inactivity
My older signal (strategies 1–6) shows 110 trades in just 4 months
Each group of strategies averages 300–350 trades/year, and if you run the full default setup (all groups), that’s 1000+ trades annually
This system is built for quality, not quantity. And most importantly: it doesn’t blow up accounts chasing low-probability setups.
If you’re looking for a real EA with long-term consistency, this is it.
Example of trades on one of my live signals running strategies 7 to 13
🚀 Why DAX EA Crushes Typical Breakout Systems
Most bots use basic pending orders — easy prey for market makers. ❌
DAX EA waits for smart money 📊 (banks, institutions) to attack key zones 📉📈

The wave is building — ride it now.
📌 Quick Note on Today’s Deals:

Today, more strategies were triggered on Darwinex, fewer on ICMarkets, and none on Pepperstone, Fusion, or Tickmill. This kind of variation is normal — especially when the market is at all-time highs, with lower liquidity and higher slippage.
The EAs are built with smart filters that automatically prevent trades when spread or slippage is out of range, ensuring safer execution across different brokers and server conditions.

Note: When stronger breakouts happen, profits will of course be much better.

📊 Why Index EAs Are Rare — And Why That’s a Big Opportunity for You!
Most traders chase the same symbols — Forex pairs and Gold — because they’re popular and easier to sell. But here’s the truth no one tells you: high-quality Index EAs are harder to find… and far more valuable when you do.
1️⃣ Most sellers avoid Indexes.
They go for the “most demanded” symbols like Forex and Gold, especially to attract beginners. That means fewer competitors in the index market — giving you a real edge.
2️⃣ Developing Index EAs is harder.
It’s not copy-paste coding. Index EAs require deeper market understanding, advanced execution logic, and real trading experience — which is why few developers can make them profitable.
3️⃣ Backtesting Index EAs is a different game.
Real tick data is essential because indexes have frequent price jumps. This makes proper testing slower and more expensive. Many users test with 1-minute OHLC, which kills real index performance — but surprisingly, 1-minute OHLC inflates results for Forex/Metals. With indexes, the real tick tells the real story.
⚠️ The hidden trap:
Most available index EAs are built on outdated classical support-and-resistance pending orders, which are easy prey for market maker manipulation. That’s why these EAs fail quickly in real trading.
💡 Why DAX EA is different:
It’s designed using ICT concepts — leveraging daily bias, the distribution phase, and Fair Value Gap analysis — to align with smart money movement in the first hour of the EU and US stock market opens (a.k.a. the killing zone). This is where institutional order flow creates the most explosive moves — and where DAX EA thrives.
4️⃣ Selling Forex/Gold is easier — but that’s exactly why indexes are the hidden gem.
Since fewer sellers go through the extra work of building truly robust index EAs, the ones that do exist can dominate their niche.
✅ The takeaway:
🔗 DAX EA: https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/129289If you want an EA in a market with less crowding, fewer copycats, and the potential for high returns when designed right — go for a proven Index EA. It’s the harder path for developers, but the smarter choice for traders who want an edge.

🆕 New Filter Update Coming This Weekend
A new optional filter will be added to DAX EA in this weekend’s update.
🔘 Disabled by default – enable it manually to test.
📌 Suggested setup (if you have 2 accounts):
• One account with the filter
• One account without the filter
→ Compare both to find what fits your broker best.
📈 What the filter does:
• Boosts win rate, profit factor, and recovery factor
• Slightly lowers average profit per trade over time
⚠️ Recommendation:
Use lower risk settings in both cases — especially on prop firms or brokers with poor execution.
🆕 DAX EA Version 1.1 – Released Today
The new optional filter “Fast Closing” is now live in DAX EA v1.1.
🔘 Disabled by default – enable it manually to test.
📌 Suggested setup (if you have 2 accounts):
• One account with the filter
• One account without the filter
→ Compare both to see which fits your broker best.
📈 What the “Fast Closing” filter does:
• Closes trades quickly at any profit shortly after breakout
• Increases win rate, profit factor, and recovery factor
• Slightly reduces average profit per trade over time
⚠️ Recommendation:
Run with lower risk settings in both cases — especially if you’re using prop firms or brokers with weaker execution.
ℹ️ Note from me:
I will not apply this filter to my own signals, but based on my testing it can improve results with brokers that have bigger spreads and slippage on DAX. For example, I’ve seen clear improvements on Pepperstone, FBS, and BlackBull.
🧪 Tip: It’s better to make a backtest with your broker’s historical data (with real tick) in both modes — with and without the filter — to see if it improves results for your setup.
🚀 Update v1.1 is available now — go ahead and try it out!

📌 Execution Update – Today’s Results

✅ Once again, FPMarkets (initial version, without Fast Closing) performed best today.
⚠️ On ICMarkets, Tickmill, and Fusion, I experienced slippage on entries. However, the Fast Closing version running on those brokers still managed to close trades in profit.
🔹 Running strategies 2–4 separately with the older version also ended profitable.
👉 Since this kind of slippage on those brokers is new, I’m not yet changing my signal settings to Fast Closing. I want to watch a bit longer to see if it’s just a temporary execution issue.
💡 If you have two trading accounts, I recommend testing both setups:
One with Fast Closing enabled
One with the original version
This way you can see which one works better with your broker’s execution.
This is how Fast closing = True in the new version performed on ICM, Fusion, and Tickmill ( almost similar results on all of them)
How to activate Fast Closing after an update
When a new feature is added, simply updating the EA does not enable it automatically. Please do the following to activate Fast Closing:
1️⃣ Restart your MT5 terminal after updating the EA.
2️⃣ Remove and re-attach the EA to the chart.
3️⃣ Open Inputs and set Fast Closing = true, then click OK.
Even Darwinex – normally the weakest performer – closed in profit today with Fast Closing enabled. ⚡️
👉 Please make sure to:
1️⃣ Remove the EA from the chart
2️⃣ Re-attach it
3️⃣ In Inputs, activate Fast Closing = true
Only then will the feature work correctly after an update.
Whenever a new button or feature is added to the EA, simply updating it is not enough.
👉 You must:
1️⃣ Remove the EA from your chart
2️⃣ Re-attach it again
3️⃣ Check the inputs and make sure the new feature (e.g. Fast Closing) is set as you want
This ensures the new button/feature is fully activated and working properly.
✅ Profitable:
Strategies 1–6 positive across all brokers
Signals 2–4 also did well
🚀 Fast Closing:
Closed default strategies (23) in profit
Worked well on all brokers
❌ Default Only (Fast Closing = False):
11, 12, 13, 21, 22 not positive by default
Only OK on some brokers (ex: FPMarkets) when price quickly pulled back
📌 My Take:
Bigger deposits → run strategies 2–4
Default setup → keep it, but activate Fast Closing (reduces holding time + slippage)
🔎 Monitoring Signals:
I’m not changing setups (temporary market condition, should normalize)
1–6 slightly positive, 2–4 also positive
7–13 & 16–23 triggered negative today (since I don’t run Fast Closing on monitoring signals)
The Index market has been playing at all-time highs (ATH) recently without any significant correction, and with lower liquidity.
Because of this, results vary slightly across brokers. For example, all recent trades were profitable on FPMarkets, while on some other brokers there was more slippage.
Despite that, DAX remains one of my best EAs (also based on my manual trading experience), and I’m confident it will outperform strongly in the future.
👉 For a more conservative setup on DAX, you can focus on strategies 2–4, which operate on higher timeframes.
https://www.mql5.com/en/signals/2320043
Less trades doesn’t mean less profit — sometimes quality > quantity.
💡 Note on Recent Small Profits
These happen because the EA uses trailing TP/SL 🛡 when the market reverses fast without a real breakout.
👉 This way it avoids hitting full SLs ❌.
📈 In the long run, the average TP ✅ is larger than the SL, so the system keeps its edge.

This is scamm ea, from the first day on the market it cannot make any profits, signals are falling down as well

On brokers like ICMarkets with contract size 1, the max stop loss per trade is about $3 for 0.1 lot.
But from your screenshot, your broker’s contract size is 100, which is unusual and 100x larger than normal. I use Tickmill myself, where the contract size is 1.
That contract size difference explains why your losses look so much bigger.
For a 0.1 lot and contract 1 ( such as ICMarkets and many other brokers, your max loss per trade should be around 3 USD.)
