The indicator allows to display the channel (Simple Moving average based on High's plus Simple Moving Average based on Low's) for a selected period (e.g. 3 bars) on one time frame (e.g. daily bars) on any lower time frame.
For example: on a daily bar chart, the indicator displays the channel formed by a 3-period SMA (High) and a 3-period SMA (Low). When changing the chart view to any lower time frame (e.g. H4 or lower),
the indicator should continue to display the values of the higher time frame on any of the lower time frames.
Currently the Lua based indicator is split into 2 separate versions:
Version 1: 2SMA_Dynamic_Lines
Version2: 3SMA_Dynamic-Lines
If possible, the indicator should have the option to choose between periods (number of bars on chosen main time frame either 2 or 3) as well as be applicable to any time frame (Month, Week, Day, etc.).
The attached screen shots show A) the 3SMA_Dynamic_Lines on the main time frame (here daily bars) and B) on a lower time frame (here H1 bars). The look-back period is infinite (as far as chart data is available).
The original LUA indicators I cannot attach here due to 'invalid file format' - but I would be happy send those via email if required.
Happy to discuss fees.
Kind regards,
Max
Thank you to all developers who have responded - please allow me a little time to read through and reply.
P.S.: please find attached ZIP file of the existing LUA scripts for any questions.
The new MT5 indicator (like the LUA version) should update 'dynamically' taking into account new intraday high's and low's (e.g. the lines across all time frames should redraw with any new intraday HIGH and/or LOW)
