"Experienced MQL5 Developer Needed: Advanced Forex EA with Dynamic Swing-Based SL & Custom Risk Management (No Fixed Stop-Loss)"

Summary

I currently trade EURUSD manually using my own tested strategy and am looking for an experienced MQL5 developer to automate it as an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5.

What the bot should do

• Instrument: EURUSD
• Determine entry signals using multiple timeframes (higher timeframe for direction/trend, lower timeframe for precise entry timing)
• Place orders using limit orders (no market orders)
• No overnight positions — everything is closed within the same day
• No trading during major news events
• Average of 15-20 trades per month, with an average trade duration of around 30 minutes

Stop-loss: dynamic instead of fixed

No fixed pip distance for the stop-loss. The bot should identify the most recent relevant swing high/low in the market itself and base the stop-loss on that, so the SL adapts to actual market structure instead of using a fixed number.

Risk management: stop-loss to breakeven

Once a trade is sufficiently in profit, the bot should automatically move the stop-loss to the entry level (breakeven), so a previously profitable trade can't turn into a loss.

Other requirements

• Full, well-commented source code and full ownership rights after delivery
• Key settings (such as risk settings and time windows) must be adjustable by me directly through MT5's input parameters, without needing to touch the code
• Backtesting on multiple years of historical data, with realistic spread and costs factored in

Process & payment

• Payment in milestones via platform escrow, not fully upfront
• Would like a time and cost estimate before starting
• Possibly interested in ongoing collaboration for future adjustments
