Optimisation of an already existing MTF fractal lines indicator

Hello, I've built an indicator that paints an horizontal line from the peak of a fractal (in wathever TF choosen by user) to the point where that fractal is surpassed by an high/low in the current TF. Here's a visual example: 

As you see this is hand-drown to show the concept, the indicator also have a custom lookback represented by the yellow line. So for example if the user set a lookback of 300 bars then the indicator will scan trough last 300 bars of the chosen TF and draw fractals only on these 300 bars.

As you see it's a bit buggy. The scope of the task would be optimising the underlying existing algorithm so it works efficiently and properly.
