I would like to create an EA which uses the CCI indicator to generate trading signals, but which are subject to different filters such as the SMA, a higher level CCI, time and news.

 

The EA shall be programmed in such a fashion as to allow for easy code modification in future (by me) in order to add extra filters and facilitate additional testing.

 

The EA shall manage all positions using TP, SL and TS (in points or as a function of ATR). There will be no grid or martingale options included in this EA.

 

The EA shall contain straight forward money management, with lot sizes defined based on the account size.

 

The EA shall have the option to limit trading based on day and time.

 

The EA shall have the option to limit trades by max allowable spread.

 

The EA shall have a news filter, preventing trades from opening x minutes before and after low, medium and high impact news events. If set to 0 they are not used.

 

The EA is programmed with points instead of pips.
