Tool for converting tick data & remove memory limitation for MT4

Hello everybody.

I would like to know if there is any way to build a script to convert tick data for MT4 and removing memory limitation with files size exceeding 4 GB.

There is a product developed from an independent programmer which is the only one available on the market

I am wondering if is possible to develop a similar tool, since I do not like to be bound to third party companies for such a vital task like backtesting.
