Converting MT4 to MT5 Project

i have an MT4 EA, on which i am trying several historical strategies, but it is taking too much time to finish each test. (for example if i am testing my EA on USD/EUR for 2 years data base, it is taking about 20 days to finish each test) i was advised to convert my EA to MT5 so i can get faster results in shorter time.

That is why i would like to convert my MT4 EA into an MT5 EA in order to get faster results on the strategy tester, and to use it for life trading where available.

there might be one or 2 amendments after discussing the issue with developper, to see if it is feasible.
