Last year, I discovered a very interesting developer — Mohammadmahdi Sanei (https://www.mql5.com/en/users/momasan1990/seller). Since then, I’ve been constantly following all updates to his advisors. I should note that his settings are quite confusing )))) though not the most confusing on the entire marketplace — which is also true )))

Since, in order to get a more normalized view of how a robot trades, I always run backtests with a fixed lot, I did the same with this author’s robots. I got some results and used them.

His Pound Yen Trader has always performed very well. The others could also be profitable with fixed-lot settings, but only after tweaking the martingale parameters. During the New Year holidays, however, I couldn’t get a fixed-lot test to run for one of the updates. So I found a workaround: I set the risk as a percentage of the deposit so that with a $100,000,000 balance the lot size would be 0.1 — which allowed the robot to always trade 0.1 lots regardless of account growth.

At that point, I discovered that the advisor determines the lot size based on trading conditions!!! At the same time, this detail was never mentioned anywhere in the description ))) In short, in real-world usage — when the advisor is allowed to choose the lot size — all of the author’s robots look even more attractive. And recently, he released a new product, Noctra.

Overall, I highly recommend paying attention to this excellent developer and his products.

Hello everyone!
I’d like to share my observations. Here are the results of different EAs running on a Tickmill demo account. To standardize the comparison, I adjusted the lot size so that if an EA hits its maximum drawdown (based on 5-year backtests), the loss would equal $500.
If this post gets enough interest, I’ll update next month with fresh results and add a column showing each EA’s actual max drawdown during the month...

Привет всем! Хочу поделиться своими наблюдениями. Здесь результаты разных советников на демо Tickmill. Но для приведения их к равному знаменателю я выставлял размер лота таким образом что бы если он достиг величины максимальной просадки(по 5и летним бэктестам), то чтобы это равнялось $500.
Если пост будет поддержан то в следующем месяце повторю свою выкладку и добавлю столбик с максимальной просадкой советника в течении месяца...
