Hi Claudio

The Scalper Inside Pro indicator is designed to work on a wide range of financial assets.

By the way, do not be confused by the v7.8 version number of the indicator in the examples - I am preparing a new version for release, so I show examples on it.

But the market is not an exact science and there are no absolute parameters here. In general, on the market we deal with probabilities and theories. That is why it is important to study the market, to use more practice and not to expect instant results.

For example, on some indices or commodities we may find a rather large spread or weak volatility on the M5 timeframe and this may hinder the indicator in identifying important key points. The natural and quick solution is to check the performance of the indicator on this instrument on a higher timeframe to increase the ranges of price movements and reduce the influence of the spread.

For example H1:

Further, thanks to the many settings in the indicator, we can try different parameters, including manual setting of profits and losses. Do not be afraid to experiment - that is why the indicator has such flexibility, so that we can adjust and customize it to our needs, timeframes and financial assets. At the same time, we can immediately and quickly assess the potential of a given financial asset and timeframe.

Duck or Nasdaq? 😊

Beyonce or DowJones? 😊

I apologize for these puns – I couldn't resist.

---

One more… Is Brent your friend?

We can even ask ourselves more global questions - like whether Aston Martin will be Bond's next car (if there is a new Bond at all):

Not yet, apparently. But you know what to monitor in case of anything... 😏

💎 UPDATE: SCALPER INSIDE PRO v7.8 💎

Hello, my friends! ❤️

⚠️ Attention, the appearance of the updated version on the Market may take some time before it becomes available for download! This is related to product re-indexing. Please be patient – the new version will be available soon!

🔸🔸🔸🔶🔸🔸🔸

In the new version, the changes will be more on the service side – I just made some internal modules work more optimally. Plus, there were minor adjustments to how the indicator signals are displayed.

🔸🔸🔸🔶🔸🔸🔸

🔸🔸🔸🔶🔸🔸🔸

By the way, a small observation. During the testing of the new version, I accidentally opened the JP225Cash chart on the M1 timeframe – you know, my favorite timeframe is M5. But I was quite surprised to see how JP225Cash behaves on M1 with default settings.

I recommend paying attention to this financial asset, and I will keep an eye on it as well.

Hello friends.

A little announcement of the future version. No, no - don't be alarmed - this is not an update yet. 😊 I realize that I release new versions a bit too often, but I just can't stop when I see some new features or adjustments that can be improved or adapted.

Today I want to make a small announcement of the future v7.9 indicator, the main feature of which will be a significantly improved and updated volatility filter in the HTF-Filter Advice System module. This version is still under development, as I am studying the features of the updated filter and continue working on it.

But first a little bit of theory. Strategies in the Scalper Inside Pro indicator are trending, so the appearance of a buy or sell signal means that there is a suitable impulse for the price to quickly overcome the local resistance or support level and reach the set targets. At the same time, this impulse may last longer than we expected, or on the contrary, it may end earlier, because this is the market and we cannot predict the potential of this impulse 100% in advance.

But what we can do is to follow this impulse in the process, and this is the direction I am working in now. I have already talked about JP225Cash earlier and watching this instrument gave me an idea how to improve the volatility filter and make the understanding of the market processes even more clear.

Yes, HTF-Filter Advice System was already present in earlier versions of the indicator, but it often triggered too early and it was not very comfortable. Now, however, I was able to significantly improve the calculation of market weakness after the initial impulse.

---

The very idea is that when the price gets an impulse to move, it should reach the target levels - power (or attraction) levels - as quickly as possible. But what if the price fails to reach these targets and the initial momentum begins to fade due to the emergence of strong players in the market who start working against the initial momentum? Or perhaps this happens almost immediately, and the price starts turning in the opposite direction. This is where the volatility filter comes into play, which is included in the HTF-Filter Advice System module.

The essence of its work is to show us key levels on the price chart when there is weakness in the bulls (during buying) or bears (during selling). This level symbolizes an obstacle for the price but also indicates that there is already market weakness in the direction of our signal. The initial impulse is starting to fade. And again, we can't be sure - maybe the movement will get a new impulse in our direction, or maybe it won't. But this uncertainty is not so important for us because now we will see these levels more clearly, which allows us to identify break levels and, for example, place protective stop orders at these levels. Or move stops following the price if it gets a new impulse and moves in the direction we are waiting for.

---

Look at the example of JP225Cash to see how key levels are precisely defined:

In particular, this feature can help to close possible losing positions much earlier, reducing losses:

And a few more examples of how the end of the impulse is determined in the new v7.9 of the indicator:

It is important to note that this is not 100% accurate, just like everything happening on the market. Somewhere, the price will try to break this level with a "tail":

But this is still a very important improvement, and I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to share the new version with you in the near future. In the meantime, I am working hard on it.

Thank you for your attention!

Update for the current situation on EURUSD:

We see that a support level has been formed. That is, we understand that the initial impulse was enough to reach only the TP2 target and the bulls started to show weakness.

Overall, as I said before, wait for the new version of the indicator - I am in the process of working on a new feature.

💎 UPDATE: SCALPER INSIDE PRO v7.9 💎

Hello, my friends! ❤️

I am thrilled to introduce you to the new version of the Scalper Inside Pro v7.9 indicator, featuring an updated and improved HTF Trailing Advice System module!

⚠️ Attention, the appearance of the updated version on the Market may take some time before it becomes available for download! This is related to product re-indexing. Please be patient – the new version will be available soon!

To begin, let's recall which settings in the indicator are responsible for this function:

Use HTF Impulse Filter – enables and disables the HTF Impulse Filter. When the filter is disabled, the HTF Trailing Advice System is automatically turned off as well.

HTF-Filter Trailing Advice System – enables and disables the HTF-Filter Trailing Adivce System

Number of Bars for HTF Trailing Advice Calculation – the number of bars in history used for calculating levels for the HTF-Filter Trailing. The higher this value, the more processing power the module will consume.

Delta for Buy HTF Trailing – the delta for offsetting levels from the initial value for Buy positions. This parameter is used to avoid triggering stop orders by the price during trading.

Delta for Sell HTF Trailing – similar to the previous parameter, but for Sell positions.

Use Text Labels for HTF-Filter Levels – display text labels with numerical values of the HTF-Filter Trailing levels.

HTF Text Labels Font Size – font size for labels.

In the new version, the system of filtering less significant price fluctuations has been significantly improved in order to prevent premature triggering of stops.

This gives us an even smoother experience in the new version and brings us another step closer to the ideal:

That is, we can not only set the loss level and move it following the price, but also fulfill one of the main rules of trading - to let the profit grow if our initial impulse gains momentum and the price continues to move in the necessary direction.

I have already described the general logic of work earlier, but I will specify some details. The essence is that we refer to the theory that price moves by impulses from target to target when there are strong players interested in this or that direction of price movement. This can be found in the principles of Smart Money, and in the teachings about candlestick formations - there are several variants here, but this is another story. So the appearance of a Buy or Sell signal from the indicator means that the indicator determines at this moment in time the impulse - the presence of Bulls in the market, who want to buy (for Buy signal), or Bears, who sell, moving the price down (for Sell signal).

The search for impulse in scalping or intraday trades is, ideally, the search for such a signal, which, if possible, will lead to the achievement of the target as soon as possible. Since further this impulse can dissipate, lose strength, then, perhaps, gain it again - in general, to lose some predictability of the initial idea and initial impulse. The HTF-Filter Trailing Advice System is based on these principles. The indicator tries to identify the weaknesses of those or other players, in the direction of the initial impulse from which we received a signal. Then we identify a potential strong reference level, which has become a kind of barrier for the price.

And if the initial impulse failed to bring us to the target and dissipated to gain new strength before continuing the movement, or in general turned in the opposite direction, we can assume at such levels that either the price will go further in our direction, or the breakdown of this level will mean a potential change of trend.

Therefore, the main task of the HTF-Filter Trailing Advice System is to show us such levels so that we can, for example, cut losses if the momentum starts working against us. Here is an example:

As we can see after the buy signal HTF-Filter changes its mood several times from Buy to Sell, and we also get a support level, the breach of which in Sell can theoretically mean a change of trend. But, of course, the price can also continue to grow. But in this case, we see that HTF-Filter consistently gives us several consecutive “hints” of Sell-trend. Plus, we have fixed the level of 1.04714 as a potential stop level. And further, when a whole series of “hints” of Sell from HTF-Filter appears, we can even move the profit to breakeven. In this case, instead of a big loss, we would even get a small plus with the help of a price spike. But in any case, even without moving the profit level, we would significantly reduce the potential loss, focusing on the level 1.04714

---

This method isn't perfect - like anything in the market. The price will sometimes try to hit stops, "drawing" a spike against the level and then continuing its movement. But I still recommend including this method in your toolkit because it can help significantly reduce losses and increase potential profits.

Very cool Alex!!!! I'll keep an eye out for this new improvement... I'll send you a question in private so as not to confuse people here We really appreciate your dedication and work!
Alexey Minkov

Hello friends!

I've been doing a lot of hard coding lately to reach the heights I've set for myself. Because there are a few ideas I'd like to implement.

And today I want to make a little announcement about the new v8 generation of the Scalper Inside Pro indicator and discuss two important usability improvements in the new version.

Feature 1

The first improvement is, of course, the enhancement of the HTF-Filter Trailing Advice System (HTF TAS) module, which I have been working on since the last version.

Now we can adjust the sensitivity of the Trailing Advice System (TAS) module to prevent stops from being knocked out by price fluctuations. This should allow us to more clearly see the potential stop level if something goes wrong. It will also enable us to move the stop more reliably to follow the price, minimizing the risk of premature stop and allowing profits to grow.

Here is how it will be implemented in the indicator settings:

In version 7.9, this setting is not yet available, and the TAS module is set to Mode-3 (High) by default. Here is an example on the graph with the Mode-3 (High) setting, which was used in version 7.9:

Now let's switch the HTF TAS setting to Mode-2 (Mid), which will become the default setting in the v8.0 version of the Scalper Inside Pro indicator:

As you can see, with this option, if we set stops using HTF TAS, we will avoid triggering them prematurely.

In other situations, we get those signals at the right time to take them into account in the working process:

I think it's awesome and will be very helpful!

Feature 2

The next improvement concerns the built-in optimization module. I won't show many examples yet, but I'll explain how it will work.

I've been asked many times to make it possible to influence the selectivity of the optimization module in some way. After much thought and trying different options, I developed a solution that is both useful and functional while avoiding making this module's work too slow.

In the new v8.0 of the indicator there will be an additional setting for the optimization module, something like “Robustness”. As well as in case of HTF TAS, most likely there will be about 2-3 levels of sensitivity of the optimization module.

With lower sensitivity, the indicator will select optimal parameters for a smaller number of potential signals, discarding some of those that do not fit a number of reference criteria. This is how it looks like in the current 7.9 version:

Well, at higher sensitivity, the indicator will select the optimal parameters, weakening the filtering to get the maximum result for a larger number of signals. This is how you can set the settings for v8.0:

Note that when we self-tested the resulting result at 50000 bars, we even got a better result with the higher sensitivity of the optimization module than with the lower sensitivity (90.2% vs. 88.4%).

Thus it gives more opportunities to test the optimization and select the most interesting and suitable results.

That's all for today, my friends. I won't tell you the exact release date of the new version yet - I'm working hard on it now, but I'll try to do everything as soon as possible. Stay tuned!

A primeira melhoria é, é claro, o aprimoramento do módulo HTF-Filter Trailing Advice System (HTF TAS), no qual estou trabalhando desde a última versão.

Fiquem atentos!

💎 MAJOR UPDATE: SCALPER INSIDE PRO v8.0 💎

Hello, my friends! ❤️

I am proud to introduce the newest and improved major version of the Scalper Inside Pro v8.0 indicator.

⚠️ Attention, the appearance of the updated version on the Market may take some time before it becomes available for download! This is related to product re-indexing. Please be patient – the new version will be available soon!

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

Major update:

Improved rebuilt version of the indicator

Updated and optimized indicator engine

Improved optimization module

Additional settings in the optimization module

Numerous other improvements in the code

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

We have been working on this version for a long time, as it has a significantly improved and reworked indicator engine, which now allows calculations to be made more efficiently and accurately. The changes also affected the optimization module, which received additional upgrades and settings for better customization and increased usability. The icing on the cake was also an additional free module GoldX for Gold (XAUUSD), which was kindly shared by our good friend.

Optimization settings now include the following options:

With default values, everything will work as in previous versions.

The Optimization Sensitivity Settings parameter sets the sensitivity of the built-in optimization module and consists of 2 options:

Mid Sensitivity - the average sensitivity of the optimizer. In this mode, more signals that do not fit certain criteria are cut off during optimization (the parameter is set by default).

High Sensitivity - high sensitivity of the optimizer. In this mode, the optimizer becomes more sensitive, increasing the number of signals included in the sample. As a result, the total number of signals for the same time interval can be higher, but with some reduction in WR% level. This can be useful if you want to expand the sample and the resulting WR% is acceptable.

---

Maximum WR% During Optimization is an experimental parameter that allows you to set an exact limit on the maximum WR% value that can be obtained during the optimization process. Using this parameter can be useful to limit the maximum possible WR% to a lower value, which in some cases allows to obtain interesting working results with a lesser WR% value.

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

Additional free add-on GoldX for buyers of Scalper Inside Pro indicator

If you haven't downloaded the GoldX add-on yet, private message me to get this add-on bundled with the other modules (Colosseum and Samurai):

GoldX is better suited for higher timeframes (H1, H4, Daily). It is preferable to use it in the Delta Open mode and maintain a sufficient Delta range, taking into account the instrument's volatility. Further development may be considered in the future.

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

Well friends, once again congratulations to all of us with the updated version. More exciting things are on the horizon - stay tuned!

Oriano

Hi Alex,

For the past few months, I've been having a lot of fun with these excellent indicators, both AOTI and Scalper Inside Pro.

I wanted to ask you, since you mentioned it here about two years ago, how things were going with the EA for Scalper Inside Pro.

It would be great to have an EA, just like for AOTI, that allows for 24-hour market monitoring.

Alexey Minkov

Hi Oriano

First of all, thank you very much for your kind words about my products - both AOTI and Scalper Inside Pro. As a developer, I am always pleased to hear that my products are helpful to users.

The situation with the EA in general can be called funny, because the reasons are largely due to my perfectionism. By the way, my clients often criticize me for this. But I can't do it any other way. I have knowledge and experience; I see that something can be improved - and then I'm in business. I can't release something that is not completely ready, which will be of more use to a programmer than to a user. And I see it as my task to bring the product to such a form that it is accessible and understandable. I see some points in the indicator that I would like to improve, I observe the market, the changes in the market and adjust the indicator to match the market. And, accordingly, I postpone the creation of an automated EA for the time being, so that I don't have to correct it together with the indicator.

By the way, one of the first versions of the indicator already had a model of the EA, but I didn't think it worked well enough to show it to a wide range of people:

So the appearance of an automated system is quite possible in the future. I won't say exactly when, as I have other plans for now. For a fully automated system that will work in the “set it and forget it” mode, I still lack some nuances that I plan to finalize. As soon as something independent and automated that does not depend on the trader is ready, you will be one of the first to know about it.

And as for creating something similar to what was done for AOTI, in the form of a semi-automatic assistant - this is a more closer target. To help a trader take over some of the routine tasks. This is what I want to realize in the nearer future. But for now I am busy finishing the “tails” of the new version of the indicator and creating a good and detailed manual for the 8th actual version. Since it has already made so many changes and improvements compared to previous versions, I want to collect a lot of information in a clear and detailed manual with numerous examples. And at the same time I plan to share some hints and tricks of working with the indicator, which may not be obvious at first glance. In general, I have big plans - I am trying to find time for it all.

Oh my goodness, I was looking through my old screenshots just now and found screenshots of one of the very first versions of the indicator from August 2020. A stinging tear of nostalgia...

And the current version for the example:

Stay tuned, there are lots of exciting things to come! As I like to say: “It's bad when you have no ideas, then you don't know what to do. But when you have a lot of ideas, you just have to do and do and everything will work out!”

💎  UPDATE: SCALPER INSIDE PRO v8.1 💎

Hello, my friends! ❤️

A little but interesting update v8.1 of the Scalper Inside Pro indicator following the main v8.0.

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

Added additional alerts for HTF-Trailing Advice

Added the ability to add a custom label to the alert

Optimization module fixes

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

Some changes and improvements have been added to the alerts module as requested by my clients.

In the new version, when sending an alert, the message itself indicates which strategy gave the signal. This will be useful if the indicator is installed on the same financial asset, but with different strategies, which will allow you to more quickly identify the right chart.

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

Added the ability to set a custom label to the alert, also for better identification of the chart on which the indicator is installed with different settings:

Custom labels are added at the end of the alert text. If this field in the indicator settings remains empty (by default), nothing will be added.

🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻🔺🔻

Added the ability to activate an additional alert when HTF-Trailing Advice signal appears, which will allow to immediately recognize the opportunity to move the stop at HTF-Trailing levels:

Fenix Trader

Alex, in this case, this improved tool shows possible support and resistance, correct? To use it usefully:

1) First, we should do the improvement scanner, leave it in the most precise module with few signals

2) There will possibly be open signals where the arrow has already appeared, after that, wait for the HTF signal to appear to enter in the direction of the arrow, positioning the stop behind the HTF signal

Is this correct?

Alexey Minkov

Hi Fenix, and hello to all my friends!

Let's look at the general logic.

The Green (Buy) HTF-Filter before and at the very beginning of the Buy signal, is a good sign of Bull strength. This means that by the time the Buy signal is given, the Bulls show their interest in buying.

Further ahead we can see the appearance of Red (Sell) HTF-Filter Signals. What shows weakness of Bulls and prevalence of bearish sentiment in the market.

The price rarely goes straight to the target, and on its way forms pullbacks, which become support and resistance levels, depending on the direction of movement. In our case (in the case of Buy) support levels are formed. Note that not every price pullback can be considered sufficient to consider it as the formation of a more or less significant level. The task of the Scalper Inside Pro indicator is to identify the strongest levels to be able to set both initial stops and to move stop levels following the price.

For example:

The appearance of Red (Sell) HTF-Filter Signals does not mean that we should immediately close Buy positions, because of the dominance of bears at this point. But it is important that we understand this point and see the weakness of the bulls. Or vice versa for a Sell position.

In the new versions of the indicator, I have given a lot of attention to the processing of such price pullbacks, thanks to which we can see more transparently what is happening on the market, and can make more informed decisions.

Here's a look at the current market, how decently the indicator handles the definition of power levels, in almost every case:

Thus, it seems to me that using these anchor levels in trading can bring additional clarity and insight into what is happening in the market.

---

I would like to remind you that HTF-Filter Trailing is activated in the indicator settings by the following switch:

Number of Bars = 1000 in this case is a planned limitation to reduce CPU load. If you want to see HTF-Filter Trailing levels deeper into the story, just increase this parameter to values acceptable to you.
