THE GOLDEN FIGHTER MT5 uses confirmed price swings to place pending buy-stop and sell-stop orders on gold. It brings position sizing, trade management and a built-in performance dashboard together in one Expert Advisor. The supplied configuration is designed for XAUUSD on M5, using a MetaTrader 5 hedging account.

One Dashboard. Multiple Configurations.

Give each configuration a unique Magic Number on the same symbol and compare its results on the chart. Profit and status refresh once per minute. Attributable deal commissions, fees and swap are included in realized results.

Percentage returns use the reference balance shown on the dashboard. DashboardReferenceBalance lets you set a common reference for comparison. Closed drawdown uses available history; floating drawdown is monitored while the EA is running and cannot recover unmonitored extremes. Break-even positions are not counted as wins.

Backtesting

Test XAUUSD using the supplied M5 configuration, real ticks and realistic execution costs. Review profit, losses and drawdown together.

The images show one historical test of the original version 1.00 engine: January 1–October 8, 2026; real ticks; 99% history quality; 20 ms execution delay; USD 1,000 initial deposit; 1:1000 leverage; 30% margin allocation per proposed order, with compounding.

Results: 532 trades, USD 725,701.59 net profit, profit factor 2.38 and MT5 relative equity drawdown of 42.17%. A prior tick-sampled audit of the same execution baseline measured 53.87% drawdown using a different method.

MT5 reports 75.56% profitable trades. Fully net closed-position wins, including entry charges, are 72.56%. The definitions differ. These are historical simulations, not live results or a forecast.

Recommended Trading Conditions

For best execution conditions, we recommend a RAW spread account with a broker such as Tickmill, IC Markets, or FP Markets, or a comparable low-spread account with another broker.

Low spreads and fast order execution are essential for this strategy. Spreads, commissions, slippage, and execution delays can affect results, so performance may vary between brokers and account types.

Demo Testing & Settings

Always test the Expert Advisor on a demo account before using it on a live account, preferably with the same broker and account type you intend to use.

Recommended settings will be provided in an attached .set file. If you cannot find or access the settings, please contact us through MQL5 private messages, and we will send them to you.

Setup

1. Use MetaTrader 5 with a hedging account. Netting accounts are not supported.

2. Open your broker's gold symbol on M5 for the supplied configuration.

3. Review the symbol specification, trading costs and position-sizing settings.

4. Assign a distinct Magic Number to each configuration on the same symbol.

5. Evaluate in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account; check the dashboard and Journal before live use.

There is no universal minimum deposit: margin requirements depend on the broker and chosen volume. Images are embedded, so no separate image installation is required.

Main Parameters

  • SignalTimeframe: Current follows the attached chart; a fixed selection uses that timeframe for signals.
  • UseSecondTimeframe: enables an independent order-refresh clock. It is not a directional confirmation filter.
  • UseMarginSizing / MarginAllocationPercent: use a margin budget for each proposed order. The default is 30%; this is not a maximum-loss percentage or an account-wide exposure cap.
  • FixedLots: the alternative fixed-volume mode.
  • Trade-management controls: configure stop loss, take profit, breakeven and optional trailing.
  • Trading-hours and spread controls: set the permitted hours, spread threshold and recovery delay.
  • Magic Number: separates configurations for trade identification and dashboard reporting.
  • DashboardReferenceBalance: sets a common comparison reference when required.

Before You Trade

The dashboard image is an interface preview using demo history with ONE closed position. Its displayed 100% win rate is not a strategy performance claim.

Removing the EA or closing the terminal triggers best-effort pending-order cleanup, subject to connectivity and broker acceptance. This does not itself close existing market positions.

Trading can result in losses. Historical and demo results do not guarantee future performance. Broker execution, spreads, commissions and slippage can materially change outcomes.
