Stochastic Multi-Market EA (MT5)
One chart. Many markets. A disciplined Stochastic crossover strategy with risk controls built in.
This Expert Advisor trades Stochastic Oscillator crossovers in overbought and oversold zones. It works across a whole list of symbols from a single chart, and it runs on both netting and hedging accounts.
How it trades
Signals are read from the last closed candle, so there is no repainting and no entry on a half-formed bar.
- Sell: the Main line crosses below the Signal line while both are in the overbought zone.
- Buy: the Main line crosses above the Signal line while both are in the oversold zone.
- Stop loss: placed beyond the signal candle’s extreme, with an adjustable pip buffer for breathing room.
- Exit: there is no fixed take profit. Trades run until the Stochastic reaches the opposite extreme, or until the stop loss is hit. This lets winners follow the move instead of capping them at an arbitrary target.
Every Stochastic parameter is adjustable, including periods, smoothing, method, price field and both zone levels.
Trade many markets from one chart
- Enter your own symbol list, or turn on Market Watch scanning to cover everything you have loaded.
- Forex, metals, indices and synthetic indices are supported.
- Lot sizes can be set separately for standard instruments and for two synthetic-index groups.
Built-in protection
- Automatic account detection: hedging accounts can hold multiple positions per symbol. Netting accounts keep one position per symbol, and an opposite signal closes it and reverses.
- Risk per trade: position size is capped so a stop-loss hit costs only a set percentage of your equity.
- Margin control: each trade can use only a limited share of free margin, which keeps you well away from stop-out.
- Smart lot reduction: oversized lots are scaled down automatically. If even the smallest lot doesn’t fit, the signal is skipped and the reason is logged.
- Pre-trade validation: before any order is sent, the EA checks volume rules, minimum stop distance, freeze levels, trading permissions, and whether history and the indicator are ready.
- Clean tester journal: invalid or unaffordable orders are never sent, so your backtest logs stay free of errors.

Good to know
- Works on any timeframe. Choose one in the inputs or follow the chart.
- Synthetic index names and contract specs vary by broker, so check your symbol names and test on your own broker’s data.
- Always start on a demo account and set risk limits you are comfortable with.
Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of loss, and past or backtested performance does not guarantee future results. This EA is a tool, not financial advice.
