What you will not find in Five Engines
No martingale. No grid. No averaging down. No "recovery" mode that blows up an account on a Tuesday afternoon. Every position is born with a stop loss and a take profit, lives for a limited time, and the account is flat before every weekend. What the tester shows is what you get.
Risk, set with a single number
You choose the share of your balance used as margin. The expert queries your broker before every order, computes the real margin of the symbol and sizes the position, one trade at a time, eight positions maximum. 5 % to sleep well, 20 to 40 % to chase performance. Daily and total loss guards stand watch at all times.
A curve that climbs in steps, by design
Five Engines goes through consolidation phases of one to three months, then moves higher. At 40 % exposure the maximum observed drawdown is 23 %. This is the profile of a genuine portfolio of uncorrelated strategies, not an artificial curve smoothed by a martingale. Traders who understand that make it a long-term ally.
Five engines under the hood
- Frankfurt Breakout, DE40 M1: channel breakouts at the European open, filtered by the 09:00 reference price.
- Wall Street Session, US30 M5: opening-range breakouts after the New York open, flat before the close.
- Peer Divergence, USTEC M1: trades Nasdaq excesses not confirmed by the DAX, the Dow and the S&P.
- Monday Basket, five instruments H1: Monday mean reversion, filtered by trend and momentum.
- Sentinel Breakout, XAUUSD H1: Donchian breakouts on gold, H4 trend filter and ATR trailing stop.
Ready in five minutes
- MetaTrader 5, hedging account, leverage 1:30 or more.
- A broker offering DE40, USTEC, US500, US30, USDJPY and XAUUSD; symbol names are adjustable (GER40, NAS100, US500...).
- Attach the expert to one chart only, US30 M1, and it manages every other symbol itself. Keep the six symbols in Market Watch.
