Quantra Gold Momentum is a fully mechanical Expert Advisor for Gold (XAUUSD) on the H1 timeframe. It trades momentum breakouts confirmed by a Fair Value Gap, a trend filter and a multi-signal confluence, aiming for steady growth with strict risk control.
HOW IT WORKS
- Trend filter: trades only with the 200-period EMA (H1) direction.
- Strength filter: ADX(14) must be above 20 (only trends, not chop).
- Setup: a Fair Value Gap wider than a multiple of ATR (real momentum).
- Confluence: needs at least 2 of 3 signals aligned - TEMA(50), session VWAP and SuperTrend.
- Shorts add an RSI(14) < 40 confirmation.
- Entry at market with a hard stop (ATR-based) and a 1:1.5 target.
- Management: break-even at 0.7R, then a 0.3R trailing stop activated at 1.0R. One position at a time. No martingale, no grid, no averaging.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Lot size is a percentage of your account balance (compounding), so risk stays proportional to any account size.
- Every trade carries a hard stop-loss and take-profit from entry.

- Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold). Low-spread account recommended.
- Run on a VPS for 24/5 uptime.
