I didn’t build this MACD because I needed another indicator. I built it because the default MACD often leaves too much to interpretation - especially when you’re trying to read momentum across different timeframes.

You see MACD above zero, histogram still green… but the move is already slowing down.
Or you get a cross signal, but you’re not sure if it actually matters - or just noise.

That uncertainty is where many bad entries come from. This tool is designed to make MACD easier to read in real trading conditions.

Instead of adding more signals, it focuses on clarity:

• You can see momentum phases, not just values
• You can see MACD from higher timeframes directly on your current chart
• You don’t have to guess where crossovers happen - they are clearly marked

One thing I paid attention to is momentum behavior. A strong move doesn’t just mean “above zero” - it needs expansion. And a weak move often looks “valid” on default MACD, but is actually fading.

With the 4-state histogram, you can quickly see:

• Momentum expanding
• Momentum slowing
• Weak/no momentum (sideway conditions)

This helps avoid late entries - which is one of the most common mistakes on XAUUSD.

Another small but important detail is crossover visibility. Instead of visually tracking two lines, cross events are marked with dots. It sounds simple, but in fast markets, this removes a lot of hesitation.
