What Is GoldIQ Pro?
GoldIQ Pro is not another generic gold EA. It is the result of over five years of intensive live trading, dozens of blown accounts, and one hard-earned truth:
A truly sustainable system must prioritize risk management over chasing a perfect win rate.
Markets breathe. There will be drawdown periods and profit periods. GoldIQ Pro does not try to win every trade — it is engineered so that total gains consistently outweigh total losses over time, through a disciplined, rules-based approach.
No grid. No martingale. No machine learning. No black-box magic.
Just price action, structure, and discipline.
How It Works
GoldIQ Pro trades exclusively during the New York Session — the highest-liquidity window of the day, where institutional order flow drives decisive directional moves in Gold.
It identifies Support and Resistance zones from recent price structure. When price breaks through a level with confirmed momentum, the EA enters in the direction of the breakout to capture the resulting trend move.
Every entry requires two conditions at the same time:
• Price closes beyond the S/R level by a configurable buffer
• The breakout candle body exceeds the minimum momentum threshold
This dual-confirmation approach filters out false breakouts and noise.
Maximum 2 trades per day — 1 buy and 1 sell. Once both slots are used, the EA stands aside for the rest of the day. This prevents overtrading during choppy or low-conviction conditions.
Risk Management
Two risk modes are available:
Fix Mode — trade with a fixed lot size every time.
Risk Mode — automatically size each trade as a percentage of your account balance. Lot size grows as your account grows and shrinks during drawdown.
Recovery Mode (optional) — after a losing trade, the EA can increase the next trade's size to recover the drawdown faster. Recovery resets automatically once the next trade closes in profit. Set RecoveryMultiply = 1 to disable it entirely. Conservative traders should leave recovery off.
Every trade includes a fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit defined from the moment of entry. Break Even and Trailing Stop further protect open profits as the trade moves in your favor. The Spread Filter skips entries when broker spread is too wide.

Installation
1. Copy GoldIQ_Pro.ex5 into your MetaTrader 5 Experts folder
2. Restart MT5 and open a XAUUSD M30 chart
3. Drag the EA onto the chart
4. Set your preferred RiskType and ValueRisk
5. Enable Allow Algo Trading and click OK
Input Parameters
Risk Management
• RiskType — Fix (fixed lot) or Risk (% of balance)
• ValueRisk — lot size or % per trade
• RecoveryMultiply — lot multiplier after a loss (set to 1 to disable)
• MaxLot — maximum lot size cap
Strategy
• SR_Lookback — bars used to define the S/R range (default 20)
• BreakoutBuffer — points past S/R required to confirm breakout (default 50)
• MomentumPips — minimum breakout candle body size in points (default 30)
• ATR_Period — ATR period for dynamic SL/TP (default 14)
• ATR_SL_Multi — Stop Loss = ATR × this value (default 1.5)
• ATR_TP_Multi — Take Profit = ATR × this value (default 2.0)
Session
• NY_StartHour — session open in server time (default 13)
• NY_EndHour — session close in server time (default 20)
Trade Management
• UseTrailingStop — enable trailing stop
• TrailingStart — profit in points before trailing activates (default 50)
• TrailingStep — trailing step size in points (default 20)
• UseBreakEven — enable break even
• BreakEvenAt — profit in points to trigger break even (default 40)
• MaxSlippage — maximum allowed slippage in points (default 30)
Broker
• ThreeDigitBroker — set true if your broker quotes Gold with 3 decimal places (e.g. 2025.505)
• MaxSpread — skip entry if spread exceeds this value in points (default 50)
If ThreeDigitBroker is enabled, multiply all point-based inputs by 10.
Example: BreakoutBuffer 500, MomentumPips 300, TrailingStart 500, TrailingStep 200, BreakEvenAt 400, MaxSpread 500.
On-Chart Dashboard
The EA displays a live panel showing session status, current spread, daily buy/sell slot usage, recovery state, risk mode, and live balance and equity.
Common Questions
Which brokers work? Any broker on NY Close (5-day chart) with GMT+2 or GMT+3 offset.Vantage, ICMarkets, Tickmill, and Eightcap are recommended for tight spreads on XAUUSD.
Should I test on demo first? Yes — run on demo for at least 2 to 4 weeks before going live.
How long to evaluate results? A minimum of 3 months is needed to assess performance across trending, ranging, and volatile conditions.
Can I use this on other symbols? No. GoldIQ Pro is calibrated specifically for XAUUSD on M30.
What if the EA restarts mid-day? It automatically scans open positions and today's trade history on startup to restore daily slots and recovery state. No manual action needed.
Is this martingale? No. Recovery increases the lot size once after a loss, then resets. It is not a compounding chain.
