Automated Gold Trading with Adaptive Position Management

Quantora Aurion is an automated Expert Advisor for XAUUSD on MetaTrader 5. It combines selective entries, flexible lot sizing and adaptive position management with an interactive dashboard that keeps trading status and controls within reach.

Aurion evaluates market conditions through its internal trading rules and can open BUY or SELL positions. Trading activity depends on those conditions; attaching the EA does not guarantee an immediate entry.

Key Features

  • Single-position approach: one managed position or pending entry per symbol and Magic Number.
  • Fixed and Automatic lots: choose manual volume or automatic sizing based on balance and initial Stop Loss distance.
  • Six sizing presets: Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High and Extreme.
  • Automatic lot ceilings: preset-specific limits on automatically calculated volume.
  • Adaptive position management: configurable trailing, break-even, partial exits and loss-management functions.
  • Trading filters: configurable spread, trading-hour and pre-close entry controls.
  • Interactive dashboard: view account information, lot previews, trading status and position-management information.

Choose Your Sizing Configuration

Fixed mode gives you direct control over trade volume. Automatic mode calculates volume using the selected preset and the estimated loss at the initial Stop Loss, subject to broker requirements and preset volume limits.

The six presets adjust sizing, not the underlying entry strategy. Higher presets can produce substantially greater exposure and drawdown. Preset names describe relative sizing levels and do not guarantee safety or a maximum loss.

An optional minimum-lot fallback is enabled by default for Very Low and Low. When the calculated volume is below the broker minimum, this option may use the minimum lot even if it exceeds the selected risk budget. It can be disabled through the inputs.

Management Beyond the Entry

Aurion continues evaluating its managed position after entry. Depending on the enabled settings, it can adjust protective levels, apply trailing or break-even logic, reduce exposure through partial exits, or close a position when its management conditions are met.

The dashboard provides access to lot selection, presets and trading controls. Pausing new entries allows position management to continue while the EA remains running and permitted to trade.

  • Platform: MetaTrader 5.
  • Instrument: XAUUSD / Gold.
  • Account type: MT5 hedging account required.
  • Default strategy timeframe: M15.
  • Default configuration: Automatic lots with Very Low preset.
  • Recommended: reliable connectivity and a VPS for continuous operation.

Review your broker's symbol specifications and test the selected settings before live use. Keep MetaTrader 5 and the EA running for ongoing position management. Other robots and separate installations can add exposure beyond Aurion's own position limit.

Testing and Support

Evaluate the Market demo in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, using real ticks where available and realistic trading costs. Assess drawdown and position sizes alongside net profit. Historical test results are simulations, not live-account performance or forecasts.
