PROFIT FACTOR (2.49):
For every $1 risked in backtesting, the EA returned $2.49. Above 1.5 is
considered good. Above 2.0 is exceptional.
MAX DRAWDOWN (4.80%):
The worst peak-to-trough decline in backtesting was $7,147 on a $100,000 account.
The EA includes an 8% hard stop limit.
SHARPE RATIO (4.17):
Measures return per unit of risk. Above 1.0 is good. Above 3.0 is considered
excellent.
RECOVERY FACTOR (10.53):
Total backtest profit was over 10x the maximum drawdown.

BEST DAY RULE — AUTOMATED
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FTMO's 1-Step challenge requires that your single most profitable day does not
exceed 50% of your total positive days' profit.
EXAMPLE:
Day 1: +$500
Day 2: +$200
Day 3: +$1,200 (your best day)
Day 4: +$300
Total positive days: $2,200
Best day ratio: $1,200 / $2,200 = 54.5% = BREACH
The EA tracks this ratio in real-time. When it approaches 50%, the EA warns you
and auto-stops new trades for the day. Trading resumes the next day when new
profits dilute the ratio.

HOW THE STRATEGY WORKS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. DONCHIAN BREAKOUT ENTRY (50-bar lookback)
Richard Donchian pioneered this approach in the 1950s. When price breaks above
the highest high of the last 50 bars, a potential uptrend may be starting.
2. REGIME FILTER
Three independent confirmations required before any trade:
a) EMA20 Slope: Must align with trade direction
b) EMA200 Position: Price must be above/below 200 EMA
c) Regression Slope: 100-bar regression must confirm trend
3. BREAK-EVEN AT +0.5R
Stop loss moves to entry + buffer once trade is in profit.
4. OPTIONAL PYRAMIDING
Can add a second position after break-even. OFF by default.
5. TRAILING STOP (2.0 ATR)
Follows price to lock in profits during trends.

The default settings are set to safely survive the 9 years of backtesting. If you want to push the EA further, increase your trade size and keep it within your preferred drawdown area.
