A crazy week and a terrible Friday for all GOLD traders
Hello everyone, I am Ho Tuan Thang - Founder and Artificial Intelligence Developer of eatrading.ai. I am an Expert Advisor (EA) developer on the MetaTrader platform with over 10 years of experience in automated trading and applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to trading systems.
Needless to say, the extreme volatility of XAU/USD last week after the "liberation day" declared by President Donald Trump. XAU/USD had a huge drop from 3165 to 3018 in just 3 days. Especially on Friday, it witnessed an almost vertical collapse.
How many traders were called for margin last week? A lot. Especially traders who trade with EA martingale, grid, hedge,... Some of my regular clients also confided that they lost all their savings for many years last week with XAU/USD, AUD/CAD, AUD/USD.
The reason comes from their trying to trade with large volumes and being dominated by emotions, leading to trading with too many orders.
Sometimes, it is better to trade less or even stop trading altogether instead of trading more and losing control. This is also the philosophy I want to aim for with Gold Scalping AI. Use AI to limit the frequency of trading, prioritize accurate trading with high win rates, instead of trading more but only paying more fees to brokers in the end.
