Well said. The collapse of “--------” proves the point: ladder and martingale EAs aren’t trading systems, they’re disguised gambling engines. They can look profitable for a while, but volatility always wins. One prolonged trend or spike, and the account is gone. Sustainable trading requires adaptive entries, risk filters, and disciplined exits — not doubling down on losses.

Monitoring the results of real trades is the easiest way to observe the performance of an Expert Advisor with data that it has never seen before.
