• Buy near local lows, sell near local highs
• Use adaptive price ranges on XAUUSD to detect exhaustion and fake breaks
• No indicators, no over‑fitted filters – this live setup uses pure price‑range logic only
• Risk is kept deliberately small so that the account can survive the whole gold cycle, including extreme crashes

1. Backtest & Robustness

• Optimization window: 2025‑01‑01 to 2026‑01‑01
• Robustness check: full backtest on XAUUSD from 2011‑01‑01 to 2026‑02‑21 (15 years)
• It successfully passed:
  • 2026‑01‑30: one‑day crash of about 700 USD (≈70,000 points)
  • 2026‑02‑12: intraday drop of 200 USD (=20,000 points) in 15 minutes

Throughout the entire 15‑year history:

• Max deposit load stayed below 10% (in practice rarely above 5%)
• Daily loss limit is hard‑capped at 15%
  • Example: with a 1,000 USD account, the maximum loss for one day is limited to about 150 USD.

This is not a martingale/grid that “looks good until it explodes”.
