Active Trendline To Close Position

Tarea técnica

  1. User will manually open a trade.
  2. User will then manually draw a trendline.
  3. User will link the trendline to the open trade (how is to be determined - your suggestion please).
  4. EA changes colour of trendline to indicate that it is now active and linked to the open trade.
  5. For a long position, the EA will close the open position at market on candle close below active trendline. Vice versa for short.
  6. EA will then change colour of trendline to indicate that it is no longer active.
  7. User may modify an active trendline in the way that any trendline can be modified, except that in the case of an open long position, the linked trendline cannot have a value greater than the current price for the current time.
  8. User may delete an active trendline.
  9. User may add a new trendline and link it to an open position as in (3) above.
  10. Only one active trendline can be linked to an open position.
  11. Will work for all time-frames.

The desire is to get the active trendline functionality working as this will enable me to open a position and then 'set and forget' the position close parameters. The active trendline effectively provides both the SL and TP functions for the trade.

Once the active trendline is functional, I will then need to signal alert to be coded, so additional work will follow.
