I am seeking an experienced Python developer with a strong background in working with MetaTrader 5 (MT5) to help us implement and go live with an algorithmic trading strategy. The primary task involves converting a Python-based trading script into a fully-functional MT5 Expert Advisor (EA).

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and understand the existing Python codebase that outlines our trading strategy. It revolves around the RSI indicator.
  2. Convert the Python script into MQL5 ( if possible ) for integration as an Expert Advisor on the MT5 platform. However the algo can be coded fully in python, and connected via API. 
  3. Implement necessary optimizations and ensure seamless execution of trades.
  4. Debug, test, and validate the EA to ensure consistent results and performance.
  5. Collaborate closely with our team to gather feedback and make iterative improvements.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in Python programming.
  2. Hands-on experience with the MT5 platform, especially in developing EAs.
  3. Solid understanding of trading concepts, especially technical indicators like RSI.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Good communication skills.
