I am seeking an experienced Python developer with a strong background in working with MetaTrader 5 (MT5) to help us implement and go live with an algorithmic trading strategy. The primary task involves converting a Python-based trading script into a fully-functional MT5 Expert Advisor (EA).
Responsibilities:
- Review and understand the existing Python codebase that outlines our trading strategy. It revolves around the RSI indicator.
- Convert the Python script into MQL5 ( if possible ) for integration as an Expert Advisor on the MT5 platform. However the algo can be coded fully in python, and connected via API.
- Implement necessary optimizations and ensure seamless execution of trades.
- Debug, test, and validate the EA to ensure consistent results and performance.
- Collaborate closely with our team to gather feedback and make iterative improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with the MT5 platform, especially in developing EAs.
- Solid understanding of trading concepts, especially technical indicators like RSI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
