Calling windows time from within EA?
Is there a way to use any other time from within an MT4 EA or script, other than the server time ? For example could one use windows system time to signal the start of some procedure, rather than have to wait on the server time to update, which can take 20 seconds in some cases ? I don't need any
Trading a signal when not subscribed
Can someone tell me whether or not a signal will work if i am not subscribed to the particular currency in Market Watch? So say a signal generates a trade for USDHKD and that pair is not in my symbol list, will MT5/MT4 still take the trade? Thanks
MT5 multiple signals.
Am i right in thinking that you can only have one signal with MT4 (correct?), and that one of the reasons people use MT5, as you can have many signals with MT5? Thanks

Introducing detachable charts.
What about metaquotes updating the mql5 terminal so that we can detach charts for working with multiple monitors? It can't be hard to do, and it would make a big difference, the world of difference actually. The way things stand, its just annoying having to click through charts, move things around
Exotics into Excel
Does anyone know of a way to get intraday (hourly closing rates) of pairs like AUD/INR, AUD/MXN, EUR/RUB, EUR/ILS, USD/BRL, USD TWD etc etc, into excel? I have been trying all morning and I must admit, im starting to lose the plot. Any answers welcome. Cheers

Hey everyone, Just a quick question regarding the Jobs marketplace; when i create a job, does it have to be strictly for metatrader? Say i wanted something programmed in VB script or in Java for example, can i still post the job in the MQL market place? Thanks
Indicator calls with DDE
Just a quick question. Does anyone know of a way to make indicator calls through a DDE link? Say for example i wanted an RSI value from an MT4/5 chart, is there a way to call it into excel using DDE... as opposed to having to construct it with historical data
Detach Charts?
Does anyone know if there is a way of detaching charts from MQL5; say for example i have 3 monitors and want to display charts on all three of them, but cant drag them out of the programs main window? Anyone know of a work-around for this? I mean everyone works with multiple monitors these days; i
