Gold-Trader Companion connects your MetaTrader 5 account to the Gold-Trader app (available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store), transforming your XAUUSD trading history into an organized journal with detailed performance and risk analysis.

Rather than simply recording winning and losing trades, Gold-Trader helps you examine how you trade, under which market conditions your trades perform, and what risks you take along the way.

The Expert Advisor operates in read-only mode. It does not open, modify or close trades.

Historical analysis uses available trading records and market data. Detailed intratrade risk observations become available as the connected EA records live trading activity.

How It Works

  1. If not already done: Install the Gold-Trader app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  2. Install GoldTraderCompanion in your MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal.

  3. Attach it to your broker's Gold chart and verify the exact symbol.

  4. Enable WebRequest for the Gold-Trader backend (https://goldtraderapp.com).

  5. Enter the eight-digit pairing code displayed by the EA in the Gold-Trader app.

  6. Confirm your account to begin synchronization.

Your existing Gold trading history can be imported, while future trading activity provides additional information for more detailed analysis.

Requirements

GoldTraderCompanion requires:

  • The Gold-Trader app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store and a user account

  • MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal

  • A Gold trading account with a supported XAUUSD symbol

  • An internet connection and Webrequest permission

The MT5 terminal and Expert Advisor must remain running for continuous synchronization.

GoldTraderCompanion is a data synchronization utility, not an automated trading system. It does not execute trades or generate trading signals.

Data & Privacy

Synchronization is enabled by default and can be disabled in the EA settings.

The EA transmits the configured Gold trading history, open-position information and account metrics, including Balance and Equity, to the Gold-Trader backend for journaling and analysis.
