Demo MT4 just stopped. I can't buy or sell anything.

Hi guys,

I'm new to trading and still in the process of learning. I've just opened my Demo MT 4 and and the charts, market watch etc. are showing the date of October the 27th at 16:59 hrs. Also, in a new order the both values are not moving showing a straight horizontal line. I've tried to rescan the sever or even open a new account. it's still the same issue.

is there something I'm doing wrong? is there anything I can do to fix that? I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

Market is closed during the weekend so everything is stopped in that time. Wait for Monday.

I thought that Forex worked 24/7.?? I started freaking out. I'll go back to learning and practising on Monday then.

  1. Opens Sunday 5pm ET/Closes Friday 5pm ET. (Adjust for NY DST and your broker's.) Some brokers a little later/earlier due to lack of volatility.
  2. "October the 27th at 16:59 hrs" Should have stopped on the 28th.
