Yep! The EA should learn from the existing trades and adapt on the future ones. 

This is what I am currently doing with my EA :)

 
Hey guys, does someone have a robot using price action and resistance/support ? i'm using price action and have brought much profit at Teletrade for me. But now i do not have much time to sit on the market. If some one have a automatic strategy please share.many thanks
 
Seem like signals are better ...Im running both and make more money on signals....not sure why robots not!!!!
 
Could you try to use different brokers and share the results?

I think signals are better. In fact I prefer it better than robots. They tend to report strong trend signals. They have variety of providers available for traders. Bots will only make you a better trader sometimes because they have swings.
