I think many elements that combine into overall risk management make something dangerous or not.

Direction is (should be) neglect able.

I defeat over than 300 pips,my ability defeat untill 800 pips counter trend. but to maximize low drawdown to save balance I use daily scalper. so defeat can be over 1000 pips ability with huge momentum gain. If good position I got 150-300 or more from momentum market. on ordinary market I got 100-200 on breakevent point

you just need to look again,if gap come like GBP/JPY 600-700 pips only on 1 day. so how if gap continue? no reverse trend at all. thats can be over 1000 although 1-2 months. you do not know how market can be crazy.
