Definitely fixed.... but you got to watch out as most of the brokers that offer this kind of accounts have some other tricks to profit from you-delay in execution/slippage, bigger swaps, SL manipulations,... -they are called market makers. So watch out!!

Personally, I prefer variable spread with a fixed commission

In my opinion fixed spread is best. OF course, if You trade on "rush" hours, then You might get better spreads on variable. But be aware! Fixed spread means in most cases that broker is MARKET MAKER, and that's a big minus for trader ;)
