Same goes for controlling profit levels, i can buy more to increase chance.

In the end the two might not be as different as you might expect.

If you can buy all the lotteries, then definitely you will win the lottery, same thing you can test in forex also, buy all the EURUSD from the market and win !!
 
Martingale is useful when you are sure of the probable trend direction. I see martingale as a trading managing system not a strategy. But as much as it kills account in the long run, trading using stop-loss with false signals may also wipe your account. :)
 
It will kill you.
 

upto some extend it will swap ur account  . . . .

but when used on suitable condition such that big news is not ahead then martingale is ok
