Agreed... Check out Amazon AWS before you try anything else.
 
I use my broker provided VPS. Its Free as long as the minimum required conditions are met. But there are many other cheap VPS services available. Once i used cheap VPS forex. They charge only 4.99$ a month. If my broker stops offering me the VPS, i would choose the cheap VPS forex.

Would you mid to do some performance tests?

For the beginning, can you e.g. check the Internet access you have:

‌I have from my laptop: dld: 43.52 Mb/s  upload: 4.48 ping Mb/s  latency: 9 ms Vienna < 50 mi

Other test suggestions (cpu, mem, hd) will come -  I am thinking about them, but suggestions are welcomed :)

Others with vps are invited too, it would be interesting for everybody I guess!‌

installed and let it run (despite a lot of other  programs were running) and I got‌ the score 665 (=151+365+114+35)
